A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2206 BE DENIED

WHEREAS, the City Plonning Commission of the City of MeheIm did receive e verified Petition for Veriance from
AIXBY LAND COMPANY, 444 West Ocean Bouievard, Suite 17C4, Long beach, California 90802,
O~,vner; HUMBLE OIL AND REFINING COMPANY, P. 0. Boz 1254, Orarge, California 92668, Agent of
certain real. property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Grange, State of
California, described as the East 180.00 feet of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of tlie southeast quarter of Section 22, Townsl~ip 4 Sout}i, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho San Juan Cajcn de Santa Ana, as said section is sho~,vn on a map recorded in book 51,
page 10 of Misceilaneous Maps, in the office of ttie county recorder uf said county.
EXCEPT the north 47G.00 feet thereof.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commisaion did hold a public hearing et the City Hell in the City of Aneheim on
Sertember 7_1, 1970, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given es required by
law and ln eccordence withthe provisions of the Aneheim Municlpel Code, Chepter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence Eor
end ageinst said proposed voriance and to inveatiQate end make Eindings and recommendations in connection therewith;
and
WHEREAS, eaid Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, end study made by itself end in its behelf,
end efter due considerotion of ell evidence and repoRe offered at seid heuring, does find and detertnine the following
fects:
1. Thet the pedtioner requests e veriance from the Anaheim Municipel Code ,;o es ~ac1 ish 3n ai: tomobile
r~ntal agency in conjunction with an existing sei•vic~ sta~ions
'.'ECTION 18.52.09p - Permitted uses in the M-1 7cne (TI:? pro;~osed use is not

.. That the site pr~posed would be inadequate for ~_he duai uses p:oposed, particularly
]n view of the fact that an addii.ional 13 fee~ of dedica~iun will be necessary for

3. That the agent. for the petitioner indicatc:~d tnat. he was only 1;he lessee and he
v+as unable to provide this addii:icnal ded:ration for strect purposes.
4. That no evidence was submitted to shcw tf;at ttie petit:ioner was denied a r.iyht

Petition for Varience on the basis of the eforementioned findings.
