A RES~LUTION OF' THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 120~ BE DENIED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition for Con-
ditional Use Permit from ROBERT Nl. ORk, E7' AL, SSC Investments Company, 1331 Fort IJelson Place,
Newport Beach, California 92660, O~Jner; FRED KAHLEN, JR,, 1i692 Steele Drive, Garden
, Grove, California 92640, Ager,t of rertain real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as that portion o; Lot 16 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a map of survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office of
~ County Recorder of Los Angeles Countyy a copy of which is shown in Book 3, Page 163

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim
on IJovember 2, i970~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given
as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal cede, Chapter 18.64,to hear
and consider evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to investiga2e and make Eindings and
recommendations in connection therewith; and
J=I WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study made by itself and in its be-
half, and aEter due consideration of all evidence and reports oEfered at said hearing, does fiud and determine the
following facts:
~ 1. Thet the proposed use is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permit is authorized by Code :
Section 18.64.020(1-c) to wi*.: esi.~b;ish a church and day schcol in an existing
str.~cture in the R-A Zone.
2. That the proposed use i, deemed inccmpatible with th~ a~jeining commercial
land use and would be in direct violation to the Commission's past policy oi not
pe~m?tting cnurch and school epr-ratiens in close proximity ef or.-,;:e be:__ and
wine estaclishments.

growth and development oi the ar2a in wnich it is proposed to be iecat~~d.
4. That the size and shape of' the site proposed :or tlie use is not adequate to

particular aree nor to tl:z peace, health, safety, and general welfare ef the Citizens
of the City ot' P.naheim.
