A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING
TO THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVAL OF REVISED PLANS FOR VARIANCE N0. 2100
~~ NiHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission on July 14, 1569 in Resolution No.
PC69-155 granted in part Variance No. 2100; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 19, 1969 in Resolution No. 69R-483 granted in
part Variance No. 2100; and
~,;^'~ WH"cREAS, a condition of approval required development substant~ally in accordance
~ i~ ~ with plans on file in the Development Services Department; and

! i~ WHEREAS, the Planning Commission considered revised plans at a public hearing on
~'~ October 19, 1970, at which time said revised plans were recommended for disapproval
~ ~ based on findings; and
! j WHEREhS, a new set of revised plans were submitted together vvith a request by the
`. f petitioner to set for public hearing consideration of these revise~d plans; and
,_I i J WNEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall
;~ in the City of Anaheim on November 30, 1970, at 2:~0 0'clock P.M., notice of said
public hearing having been duly given as required by law and ir accordance with the
~~, provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider evidence
for and against said revised plans and to investigate and make findings and recommendations
in connection therewith; and
;I WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, an~ study made by
I itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
I at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
I 1. That the revised plans now provide a 115-unit one and three-story :partment
complex.
2. That all but four of the parking spaces are proposed to be subterranean,and
will be separated from the single family residences to the north.
3. That the revised olans indicate that only one of the waivers originally
approved would still be required, and that being the waiver of the maximum
structural height limitation.
- 4. That the latest revised plans provide greater setbacks from the single family
residences to the north which should provide more proteciion to these homes
and also provides more amenities and design features to make this use more
compatible with the adjacent single family properties, although there has
been an increase in the number of units over and above that originally
approved by the City Council.
5. That all previously approved plans should be considered null and void.
6. That one person appeared, representing four persons present in the Council
Chamber and two letters were received, all in opposition to the revised plans.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R~50LVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby
; recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheim approval of revised plans submitted
under Variance No. 2100, subject to the following conditions.
1. That this variance is granted subject to the completion of Reclassification
No. 69-70=1e
2. That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans
and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim marked Lxhibit Nos. 1, 2, and 3,
Revision No. 2; Exhibit No. 4, Revision No. 3; and Exhibit Nos. 5, 6, and 7, Revision
Pdo. 2.
,, 3. That the wall along the northerly property line of subject property shall be
'''f constructed no higher than 8 feet above the grade of the adjacent property.
4. That any previous plans submitted and approved shall be declared null and void
by approval of the aforementioned revised plans.
