A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USF. PERMIT N0. 1157 gE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified Petition Eor Conditional

California 90066, Agent of certain real property situated in the City or' P,r.a;,eim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as beginning at a point on the easterl•/ line of ;3id
Lot 26, northerly 503.19 feet from tFie southeasi, corner of said lot, said soutfieast corne*
being for the purpose of this description at the intersection of the center line of Ball
Road with the center line of Los Angeles Street; thence northerly 84 feet along said east-

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public heariag at the City Fiall in the City of Aneheim on
February 25~ 1970~ at 2:00 o'clock P,M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by
law end in acrnrdence with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear end consider evidence
for and agair.st seid propusrd conditional use and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in coanectinn
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigetior,, end study mar~e by itself and in its behal(, and
a[ter due consideration ef all evidence and reports ofiered at seid hearing, d~es find and detertnine the Co:lo wing (acts:
1. Thet fiie proposed use is properly one for which a Conditionel Use Permit is authorized by Code :
Section 18.64.U?_0(2-b) to wit: establish a une-story, 99-bed general hospital in con-
junction with a 240-bed ccnvaleecent t;osp.ital on subject property.
2. That the proposed use wi11 nat adversely aEfect the adjoining land uses and the growth and development uf
the erea ia which it is proposed io be loceted.
3, That the size and shape o( the site ptoposed for the use is odequete to ullow the full development ofthe
proposed use in a manner no; d~ Uim ental tc the partic~~lar area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of
the Ciiizens of the City :~[ Anahei~n,
4. That the granting of the Condational Use Pertnit under the conditiuns imposed, if ony, will not be detcimental
to the peace, iiealth, safety, and generae ;velia:e of ;iie Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
i 5. That the petitioner concuried to limiting all vehicular traffic, in particular,
ambulance service, whenever rracticabley to vehicular access drives located on Anaheim
, Boulevard, rather than Leman Street, due to thn msr.y residential structur?s ?ccated on that
7atter sireet; and, in aodition, directicnal signs ~~ould be erected so as to aid in the
implementation ai this traf:i~ pattern.

NOW, TF{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED thet the Artaheim City P1ennIng Commission does hereby grent subject
PefltIon for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the Eollowing condItIons which are he:eby found to be a nece~sery prerequisite
to the propoaed use of the subJect property in order to prese:ve the sefety and general welfa:e of the Citizens o[ the
City of Aneheim:
; 1• That this conditional use permit is granted subject to the completion of the
conditions of Conditional Use Permit No. 1137.

and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim, marked Exhibi.t Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4,
PROVIDED, however, that a 42-inch high decorative masoni•y wall shall be erected to the
rear of the landscaped area on the Anaheim Boulevard frontage to provide a screening effect
for the parked automobiles.
