R'HEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public heacing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on
June 2, 1971, at 2:00 o'clocic F.M., notice of said public hearing having been dul
law and in eccordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64, to hear a d consider evid nce
for and egair.st said proposed conditional use and to in ~estigate and make findings and recommendations :n connection
:herewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself and in its behalf, and
after due consideration of all evidence and repc+r4s oEfered et seid hearing~ does find and determine the following Eects:
1• That the proposed u~e is properly one for which a Conditional Use Permil is authorized by COde:
Secr.ion 18.64,020(3-c) to wit; establish an animal car.e center for the temporary housing
and care of lost and distressed animals in indoor quarters, including training classes
o~i tF,e care of animals.
2, That the proposed use will not edversely affect the adjoining land uses and the growth end developmPnt of
the area in which it is proposed to be located.
3, That the size and shape af the site proposed for the use is adequete tn allow the full development of the
proposed use in a manner not detrimentel to the particular area ~or to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of
the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
4. Thet the granting of the Conditional Use Pecmit under the conditions imposed, if nny, will not be detrimental
to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the Citizens oE the City of Anaheim.
5. That the petitioner stipula~ed that theie would be no more than four (4) trainees
at one time on the premises.
6. Tha~ the petitioner stipulated that the use would be for a
three }•ears, and if additional time for the use was requested this could~be~determinedaatlY
an advertised public hearing; and further that the landscaping presently in poor condition
would be replaced.
7. That one person appeared representing six pe~sons present in the Council Chamber
i~; opposition; and that a petition signed by 24 sin 1e famil homeowners was received also
