WHEREAS, the City Planning Commiesicn did hold e public headng at the City Hall in the Clty of Anaheim on
i June 14, 1971, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing heving been duly given es required by
' ~ law and in eccordance wf.th the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68, to t~ear and conaider evidence for
~ end egainst seid proposed varience and to inveatigate end make findings and recommendations in connection therewith;

WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investlgetion, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and after dua consideration of ell evidence and repor~a offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following
facts:
1. Thet the petiti~~ner requesta a variance from the fo~.lowing provisions of the Anaheim MunLcipal
Code: .
a. SECTION 18.24.030(1-a) - Minimum required front ~3etback. (25 feet re-
quired; 19 feet proposed).
b. SECTION 18.24.a30(2) - Minimum required side yard. (5 feet required;
4 feet proposed).

required; 1 space in a garage and 1 arport proposed).

~ 2. That the petitioner proposes to convert an existing garage to a playz om on the first
floor and a bedroom on the second floor, and to construct a npw one car garage and carport
elsewhere on the 1oC.
3. That the petitioner withdrew waiver 1-b, above mention.ed, and st3pulated to providing
the Code required side yard setback.
4. That the petitioner atipuYated to relocatinR *_he new garage to 20 feet from the frc~t~t
