A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEiM
THAT P~TITION FOR VARIANCE NO. 2432 BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did recedve e verified Petition for Verience
from FRANK A. KL.AUS, Post Office Box 898, Dfarina Del Rey, California 90291, Owner; INVESTORS
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, INCORPORATED, 1345 North Grend Avenue, Santa Ana, California 92701,
Agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as Lot 15 of the C~olden State Trac~ Ne. 2 ~s per map recorded in Book 4
Page 68 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of tlte County Recorder of said county

WHEREAS, th2 City Planning Commission did hold e public hearing at the City Hel! in the City of Anaheim
on September 6, 1972, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing hecing been duly given as cequired
by lew and in eccordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.68, to hear and consider
evidence for and egainst said proposed veriance end to investigete end make findings ar.d recommendations in connec-
tion therewith; and
WHERGAS, seid Commissinn, after due inspect;on, investigetion, end study made by itself end in its behalf,
and aEter due consideration of all evidence and reports oEEered at said 'nea~ing, does find and determine the following

1. That the petit?oner requests a veriance frow the Anaheim Municipal Code es follows:
SECTION 1P.28.050(10-b) - Enclosed carports requi:ed. (Open carports proposed for
one 20-space carport)
2. Tha*_ the open carpores, as proposed, are considered to be an acceptable substitute for
enclosed carports since t}~ey visually "epen up" the project and offer a more functional carport
from a security standpoint.
3; Thet there are exceptional or extraordinary citcumstences or condition~ applicable to the propecty involved
or to the intended use of the property that do not apply generelly to the property or class of use in the same vicinity
anc~ zone.
4. That the requested variance is necessary Eor the preservation and enjoyment of e substantial ptopmrty right
possessed by othc: property in the seme vir.inity and zone, end denied to the property in question.
5. That the requested verianca will not be materially detrimental to the public welfate or injurious f.o the prop-
erty or improvements in such vicinity and zone in which the property is loceted.

Petition for Variance. upon the following conditions which ece hereby found to be a necessery prerequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject property in ocder to preserve the sefety end generel ~velfere of the Citizens af the City of
Anc~heim:
(1) That sr~+ject property ahall be developed substantially in. accordance wiCh plans and
