A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF TtiE C1TY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. ~~' ~~'25 BE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Plenning Commission of the City of Aneheim did initiate h Petition for Feclaesi-
fication on property situated in the City of Anaheim, County af Orange, State of Califor-
nia, described as That portion of the Soul-heast quarter (SE/4) of the Northwest quarter
(NW/4) of Section Twenty-four (7~4), Township Four (4).South, Range Ten (10) Weat, S.B.B.&M.,
described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line of the Southeast qusrter of
the Northwest quarter of said Section 24, which said point is distant, Easterly, measured
along said North line, 298.42 feet from the Northwest corner of said Southe&st quarter of
the Northwest quarter of Section 24 and running thence f.rom said point of beginning South-
erly parallel with the West line of the said Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 24, 1290.06 feet to an intersection with the center line of the Right of Way
of the Southern Pacific RAilroad; thence Northeasterly, along the center lin~ of eaid Rail-
road, 326.05 feet; thence Northerly, parallel with the West line of said Southeast quarter
of the Northwest quArCer of said Section ?4~'~211,57 feet to the North line of said South-
east quarter of the Northwest quarter; thenc~ Westerly 319~.96 feet to the point of begin-

October 2, 1972, et 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice oE seid pablic hearing heving been duly given As requiced by
law and in eccordence with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18.72, ta heer end consider evidence
foc and egainst seid proposed reclessificatian and to investigate and meke findings and recommendetions in connection
therewlth; and
WHEREAS, setd Commission, after due inspectlon, investigetion, and study mede by itself end in its behelf, and
efter due consideration of all evidence end reporta offered et seid heering, does find end determine the Eollowing Eects:
1. Thet the petitioner proposes a reclessificetion of the above described property from the County of Orange
A1 AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT to the City of Anaheim k-A, AGRICULTURP.L, ZONE.
2. That ttie proposed rec'lassification establ.ishes Cizy of Anahei:n zoning on propert,y
recently anner.ed into the City of Anaheim known as L'he Winston Road No. 1.
3. That the proposed reclessificetion of subject property Is necessery end/or desirable forthe orderly and pra
pee development of the community.
4. Thet the proposed ceclessificetion of subject property does properly relate to the zones end their pertnitted
uses locally established ia close proximity to subject property end to the zones end tf~eir pecmitted uses generelly estab-
lished throughout the community.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT~ESOLVED thet the Aneheim City Planning Commission doea hereby recommend
to the City auncil of thc City of Aneheim thet aubiect Petition for Feclessification be eppmved end, by so doing,
thut TiUe 1&Zoning of the Ar.Qheim Municipel Code 6e emended to exclude the above descrlbed propetty from the
County of Orange : ICLZTURAL DISTRICT and to incorporate said descvibed property into
the City of Anaheim R»A, AGRICULTUKAL, ZONE unconditionally.
