A RESOLUTION OP THG CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OL' THE CITY OP
ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OP TiiE CITY
OT' ANAHEIM APPROVAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT N~~. f.2.
WHEREAS, the California Public Resources Code requires that thc
City of Anaheim prepare an Environmental Impact Statement identifyin~~
and analyzing in detail the significant environmental effects of
pro;ects prop~sed to be constructed in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
in connection with a petition for Variance no. 2450 has received
Environmental Impact Report No. 62 from the staff of the City of
Anaheim containing details for consideration of environmental imPact:
as contained in Section 21100 of the Public Resources Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due investigation and study made
by itself and in its behalL, has reviewed the subject Environmental
Impact Report and analyzed in detail the significant environmental
effects of the proposal contained therein and does find and determine
the following: •
1. That although the report does not provide for a sound and
dust attenuation method, because it was considered to be
of a temporary nature, the Commission in approval of the
Variance required methods for dust retardation, and sound
attenuation. '
NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Planning Commission
of the City of Anaheim does hereby accept Environmental Impact Report
No. 62, and recommends that said report be adopted as the Environmental
Zmpact Statement of the City Council of the City of Anah.eim.
