A RESOLUTION Or THE CITY PLANNING COMMfISSION OF THE C1TY OF ANAHEIM
PECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. ~~"74"~ BE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did i n i t i a te a've r i f i ed Pet i t i on for
Reclassification on property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as described in 'exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to hsrein as though
set forth in full -

WfIEREAS, the City Plenning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in tha City of Aneheim on
October 1, 1973, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of said public hearing having been duly given as cequircd by
law and in accordance with the provisions of the Aneheim Municipel Code, Chapter 18.72, to hear and consider evidence
for end egainst seid pioposed reclassification and to investigete and make findings and recommendetions in connection
therewlth; and ~
WHEREAS, seid Commission, efter due inspectlon, investigetion, and study made by itself and in its behelf, end
aEter due consideration of all evidence end reports offered at seid hearing, does find end determine the following facts:
1. ThatthePlanning Commission proposes a reclassification of the above described proper-
ty from the R-A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE to tl7e R-1.QNE-FAMILY RESIDeNTIAL, ZONE.
'L. That the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the land use de~j,gnation
of the General Plan,
3. That the Planning Commission reaffirms its recommendation of R-1, ~=FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL, ZONE for properties locatad on both sides of Ranchita~~d ~~rche.r Streets
Kathryn Drive, Lindsay Street, Woodley Avenue and Hilbers Road as recommended on July
z3, 1973, since no evidence a~as presented to warrant consideration of a land use change
from the General Plan.
3. That the proposed ceclas~ificetion of subject property is necessery end/or desirable for the orderly end pro-
per development of the community.
4.- Thet the proposed reclessiflcotion of subject property does properly relate to the zones end their permitted
uses locally esteblished in close proximity to subject ptopetty and to the zones and their permitted uses generelly estab-
Ilshed throughout the commur.ity.
' S. Tnat a petition sigred by 138 single-family re5idents residing on the above men-
tioned streets was received in fauor of the proposed reclassification, and that three per-
sons representin9 a number of persons present in the Council Chamber appeared tn f~sv~r of
subject petition; and that one person appeared in opposition.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FINDING:
That the Planning Commission, in connection with an Exemption Declaration Status request,
finds and determines that the proposal would have no significant environmental impact and,
therefore, recommends to the City Council that no tnvironmental Impact Statement is neces-
sary,
