A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ~BE GRANTED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commis~ion of the City oE Anaheim did receive a verified Petition Eor Con-
ditional Use Permit from ORANGETHORPE b1INI COAIPANY~ 430 Foothill Boulevard, La Canada~
California 910I1, Owner of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County,of Orange, State of California, described as The East 198.00 feet of the West
396.00 feet of the North 660,00 feet of that pOrtion of fhe Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 3, Townah3p 4 South, Range 10 West, as said Section is
shown on a m~p recordrd in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Ora~ige
County, California, lying Easterly of the Easteriy_line of the land conveyed to the
California Cehtral Railway Company by deeds recorded November 9, 1887 in book 327,
page 220 and in boolc 327, page 221 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public heering at the City Hell in the City of Anaheim
on November 12, 1973, et 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of seid public hearing hoving been duly given
es required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chapter 18.64,to hear
end consider evidence for end egeinst said proposed conditional use and to investigate and make Eindings and
recommendations in connection thecewith; and
WHEREAS, seid Commission, after due inspecf:ion, investigation, end study mede by itself and in its be-
haiE, and efter due considecetion of all evidence end reparts offeced et said heecing, does find and determine the
following fectso
1. That the pcoposed use is properly one f~r which e Conditional Use Permit i~ authorized by Code Section
18.56.040(14) Co wit: establish a recreational vehicle stora~e yard in an esisL-ing M-1
Zone warehouse site, with waivers of:
a, SECTIQN 18.52.060(3)(b) - Reqnired block wsll surrounding an untdoor
nse. (Wail reauired; none proposed)
b. SECTION 18.52.060(4 (a} - Minimum required number of parkin~ snaces.
(59 apaces required; 25 suaces proposed)
2. That Waiver 1-a, above menl-J.oned, is hereby graia?:ed on the basis that che oi:t-
door use would be storage of recreational val:icles similar to that seen on any parking
lot, and would not present an unsighC].y appearance.
3. That Waiver 1-b, above mentioned, is hereby granted on the basis that simi'lar
warehouse facilities existing have been al~owed to have Yess than the Code specified
parkiug due to Che nature of the warehousing use.
4. That the proposed use will not adversely affect L•he adjoining land uses and tlie
growth and dev~lopment of the area in which it is proposed to be located,
5. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequate to a11ow
the full development of the proposed uae in a manner not detrimental to the particular
area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the Citizens of Che CiLy
of Anaheim.
6. That the granting of t}~e Condil-ional Use Permit under the condit3ons imposed, iL
any, will not be det~imental to the peace, health, eafety, and ~eneral welfare uf the
Citizens of ttre City of AnaFieim,
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PINDTNG:
That the Planning Co~ission, in connection with an ExempL•ion Declaration Sl•alus requesL-,
finds and determines that the proposal would have no significant environmental impact
and, therefore, recommends to the C3.ty Council that no Gnvironmental Impact Statement Ls
necessary.

NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVI3D that the Anaheim City Planning Commi~slon does hereby grent subject
Petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the Eollowing conditions which ere hereby found to be a neceFSery precequisite
to the proposed use of the subject property in order to presecve the sefety end generel welfare of the Citizens of the
City of Anaheim:
(1) Thst subject property sha11 be developed substantially in accordanoe with plans
and specifications on file with the City of Anahe2m marked Exh3bit No. 1.
