A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
THAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT N0. ~.~~- BE GR:~NTED IN PART
WHEREAS, the City °lanning Commission of the City of Anaheim did ceceive a vecified Petition for Conditional
UsePermitErom ANGF.LO AND CARL ZAfiY, 444 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, Califosnia 92802,
Owners; SOUTHWEST LEASING CORPORATION, Attention of William L. SneZling, Vice President,
350 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, California 90210, Agent of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City. Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hell in the City of Aneheim on
April 16, 1973, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by
law and in ecrnrdance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal code, Chepter 18.64, to hear and consider evidence
for and agair.st said proposed conditional use and to investigate end make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, and study mede by itself end in its behalf, and
after due consideretion of all evidence and reperts offered at said hearing, does find and detecmine the follo~ving fects:
1. That the proposed use is pcoperly one for which a Conditionel Use Permit is authorized by Code Sections
18.k0.060(j) and 18.64.020(3-d) to wit: establish an auto rental, lease, and wholesale
agency with waiver of:
SECTION 18.40.070(6-a) - Required masonry wall abutting a residential zone.
(Waiver no longer required)
2. That the petitioner stipulated to providing the required masonry wall and withdrew
1-a, above mentioned, and thnt the Commissian requested that wall be built or the adjacent
property be purchased.
3. That a six-foot masonry wall shall be con$tructed along the south property line.
4. That the proposed use will nat adversely effec.t. the adjoining land uses and the gcowth and development uf
the ecea in which it is proposed to be loceted.
5. That the size snd shape of the site pcoposed for the use is adequate ta allow the full development ofthe
proposed use in a manner nut detrimentel to the particular area noc to the peace, health, safety, and general welEace of
the Citizer.s of the City of Anaheim.
6'. That the granting of the Conditional Use Pertnit under the conditions imposed, if any, will not be detrimental
to the peace, health, safety, and general welfare of the Citizens of the City oE Anaheim.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FINDING:
That the Planning Commission, in connection with an Exempticct Declaration Status request,
£inds ar.d determines that the proposal wouid have no significant environmental impact and,
therefore, recommends to the City Council that no Environmental Impact SCatement is necessary.

NOW, THe.REFORE, BE YT RESOLVBD thet the Aneheim City Plenning Commission doe:, hereby grent sabject
petition for Conditionel Use Permit, upon the following conditions which ece hereby found to be e necessary pcerequlsite
to the propos~d use of the ~ubject pcoperty in ordet to pteserve the sefety and gene:al welfere oEthe Citlzens of the
City of Aneheim:
(1) That this Cor.ditional Use Permit is granted subject to the completion of Reclassi-
fication No. 72-73-40, now pending.
(2) That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with planfi
and specifications on file with the•City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4.
(3) That vehicles to be sold at wholesale on the premises shall be only those'vehicles
owned o=iginally by the petitione'r. Vehicle's originally purchased by someone other than the
petirioner shall not be sold from subject property, as stipulated to by the petitioner.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed end approved by me this 26th day of April, 1973.
