A RESOLUTION OP THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSZON OF THE
CITY OF ANAF.IEIt4 AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. PC72-255

WHEREAS, by clerical error Resolution No. PC72-255 did recommend
the adoption of the Project Boundaries for Re~3evelopment Prrject Area
"Alpha"; and
WHEREAS, it was tie intent and purpose of said Planning Commission
to adopt the Project Boundaries for Redevelopment Project Area "Alpha";

said error be corrected nunc pro tunc:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning
Commission does hereby amend Resolution No. PC72-255 nunc pro tunc to
read, as Eollows :

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLAIJNING COMMISS]:ON OF THE
CITY OP ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TAE ADOPTION OF
BOUN,~ARIES FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT "ALPHA"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by Resolution
No. 72R~230, designate the entire City of Anaheim as a"survey area" for
purposes of redevelopment; and
WHEREAS, Section 33322 of the Health and Safety Code of the State
of California provides that the next step in the redevelopment process
is the selection of a project area and £ormulation of a preliminary
plan for its redevelopment by the Anaheim City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission and the Community
Redevelopment Commission are to cooperate in the designation of project
azeas and the £ormulat_ion of a preliminary plan; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Commission and the Planning Commission
have met jointly to consider project areas boundaries; and
WHEREPS, the Anaheim City Plar_ning Commission upon having received
data fXOm the Redevelog;~ent Commission and after due inspection, inves-
tigation and study made by ztself and in its behal£, and after dna
coasideration does find and determine the follcwing facts:
1. That the project area should be large enough so as to
proyide sufficient £inancial resources to allow redevel-
opment of the area.
2, That designation o£ too small a project area could have
undesirab].e detrimental effects upon that small area.
3. That designation of a large area will give the Community
Redevelopment Commission, the Anaheim Plariaing Commission,
and the Redevelopment Agency the maxi.mum flexibility in
£ormulating a redevelopment program.
4. That the area known as the Yorba Regional Shoppir.g Center
located at the southwest corner of Imperial Highway and
Santa Ana Canyon Road should be included in Project Area
"Alnha".

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ~lnaheim City Planning
Commission does hereby adopt the Boundaries .for Redevelop-~ent Project
"Alpha" as follows:
1. The boundaries of Project Area "Alpha" be as described on
a map entitled "Project Area Alpha" on file in the office
o~ the Secr_tary of the Planning Commission marked Exhibit
"A" anfl shall further include the area known as the Yorba
Shoppir.g Center located at the southwest corner of Imperial
Highway and Santa Ana Canyon Road.
2. The Preliminary Plan for Project Area "Alpha" attached
hereto be adopted.
THE POREGOING RESOLUTION is signed an approved by me this 16th
