BE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission o: the City of Anaheim did ceceive e verified Yetition for Variance from RICHARD GEBHARDT, 2928 North Renwood, Peoria, Illinois 61604, O~.~ner; and RUIIERT S?^~LIVAN, 105 East lincoln Avenue, Anahe~m, California~ 92805, Agent, of certain resl property situated in the City of rlra'heim, County of Orange, State of Galiforr.ie, described as Lot 3 of Diax ,Tunge Subdivision of a portiun of Vineymrd Lot "D7", as per mrap thereof recorded in Booic 8, page 67 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing al the City Hell in the City of Anaheim on May 13, 1974, et 2:00 o'clock I'.PA., notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as required by law and in acrnrdance with the provisions of the Maheim N~unicipal Code, ChapEer 1R.68,to hear and consiner evi- dence for and aga:nst said proposed variance end to investigate and make.findings and cecommendations in cannecrion therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation; and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due considecation of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, daes find an3 detecmine ;he following facts: 1. That the petitioner requests a variance from the Aneheim Municipal Code to construct a'wall sign: SECTION 18.62.155(a) - Meximum siQn area. „(8 square feet permitted; 40 square ~ feEt proposed) 2, Thst the above-ment~oned w~Lver is hereby granted on the basis that commercial buiEdings are Pocated on either side of and within the same block as the suhjecC property. 3. That it was determined that the proposed w+-?,l sign sttould be granted for e period of kwo (2) yeers, subject ta review end suosequert ccisideratior. for extension by the Planning Cammiss~.on and/or City Council upon wriCten request by the petitioner. 4. That subject p±-operty shall be developed substantially in accordance with plans . and specifications on fi~.e with the City of %.naheim marked Eshibit Nos, l, 2, and 3. 2. Thet in order to determine whether any adverse effect wi11 reault from the granting of the waiver, the Planning Commission g*~nts a two (2) year time limitation, a£ter which time consideration may be given to:whether the waiver should be extended, upon written request by the petitioner. 3.
