A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. ~3-74-61 HE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did i n i~t i ate a ve r i f i ed Pet i t i on fo r
Reclassification on certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as
though set forth in full
; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the City Hall in tlie City of Anaheim on
June 24, 1974 at 2:00 o'clock P.M. notice of seid public hearing having been duly given os cequired by
lew and in accordence with the provisions of the Meheim Municipel Code, Chepter 18,72, to hear and consider ev;dence
for end against said pioposed reclassificetion end to investigate end make findings and recommandetions in connection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation, end study mede by itself end in its behalf, and
efter due consideration of ell evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find ar.d datermine the follewing fects:
1. That •the City Planning Commission pruposes a recTassification ~f the above-r~entioned
property from fhe County of drange A1 (AGRICULTURAL DIS1'RICT) ZONE to the City ~f AnaheFrn
R-A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE.
2. That the proposed reclassification would establish the City of Anaheim hoiding
zone on the subject property pending approval of some development zone at a future date.
3. That the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the Anaheim General Plan.
4. That the subject property was annexed to the City of Anaheim on May 3, 1974, as a
portion of the '~Orangethorpe-Nixon Annexation.~~
5. Thet the proposed reclessificetion of subject property is necessery end/or desi~able for the orderly and pro-
per development of the community.
6. That the pcoposed reclassificetion of subject property does properly relete to the zones and their permitted
uses locelly esteblished in close proximity to subject property and to the z~nes end their permitted uses generally estab-
lished throughout the eommunity.
ENVIRONMEMTAL IMPAC'T REPORT FINDING:
That the Director of Deveiopment Services has determined that the proposed~~activity falis
within the definition oT Section 3.01, Class I of the City of Anaheim Guidelines to the
Requirements for ar Environmental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exempt from
the requireme~it to file an EIR.

to the City Council of the City of kneheim that subjecf Petition for Recleseificelion be appmved end, by so doing,
thet TItle 1&Zoning of the A~eheim Munlcipel Code be ammded to exclude the ebove described property fcom the
County of Orange A1 (AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT) ZONE and to incorporate said described property
' into th~ R-A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE.
