P~ 74-157 ~ _ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION N0. 74'75'~ BE APPROVED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission oE the City of Aneneim . d i d i n i t i ate a pet i t i onrfo r reclassification of certai~ real property situated in the City of a~aheim, County of Orange, State of California described as the East half of the West half of the North- east quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Rar.;~ 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan CaJon de Santa Ana, as shown on a 14ap recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, Caiifornia. Except.ing therefrom that portion thereof lying Northerly of the following described lin~: Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of said East half, distant South 00 ~3' 43" East 659.~0 Peet from the Northwester?y corner thereof; thence South 89° 5a' 35" East 330,03 feet to a point in the Easterly line of said East hal~, distant South 0° 13' S9" East 659.12 feet from the Northeast corner :•hereof ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on August 5, 1974~ at 2:00 o'clock P.M, notice of said public hearing heving been duly given as requirel by lew end in accordance with the provisions of the Anahe.im Mun9cipal Code, Chepter 18.72, to heat end consider evidence for end against seid pioposed reclessification and to investigate and meke findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHERGAS, said Commission, efter due inspection, investigetion, end study mede by itself and in its behelE, and efter due consideration of all evidence and reports oEiered at snid hearing, does find and determir.e :he following fects: l. That the City Planning Commission proposes a reclassification of Che above- me~tioned property from the County of Orange R3-1200 (APARTMENT) DISTRICT to the City of Anaheim R-A (AGRICULTURAL) TONE. 2. That the proposed reclassificatio~ would establish tlie City of Ar.aheim P~olding zo~e on the subject property pending approval of a develo~ment zone at a later date. 3, That the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the Anaheim General Plan. 4. That the subject property is currently pendirsg annexation to the City of Anahe)T under the "Omega-Winston Annexation." 5, That the proposed reclossification of snbject pcoperty is necessary end/or desireble [or the orderly end pro- per development of the community. fi, That the pcoposed reclessificetion of subject property does properly relete to the zones end thei: oexmitted uses locally esteblished in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally esteb- lished throughout the community. 7, That no one indicated their presence at said publ?c hear9ng in opposition and no correspondence was recaived !n oppositiun to subject petition. PCJ4-157 r~:._; R_A -1- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ESOLVED that the Hnaheim City Plann Commission does heceby cecommend to~ the City Council. of the City ~neheim t6et subject Petition foe Recla~cotion be eppmved end, by so doing, that Title 1&Zoning of the Anaherm Municipal Code be emeaded to exclude the above desc:ibed property from the County of Orange R3-1200 (APARTMENT) DISTRICT and to incorporate said described property into the City of Anaheim R-A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE upon the following condition which is hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use of the subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of ;he City of Anaheim: 1. That these reclassification proceedings are granted subject to completion of a~nexation of subject property to the Cit~ of Anaheim.
