PC74-166 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT PETITION FOR VARIANCE N0. 2623 BE GRANTED WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a veri~ed Petition for Variance from KARL SATOR, 9361 Hazel Circle, Villa Park, California 92667 (Owner}; TEKFORM rRODUCTS CO., 2770 Caronai:~ Street, Anaheim, California 92806 (Agent) of certain real property situated in tne City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in Exhihit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though set forth in full ; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hola a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on Aug~st 5, 1974, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of said public heering having been duly given as required by law and in acrnrdance with the provisions of the Maheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.68,to hear and consider evi- dence [oc and ageins4 said proposed veriance und ta investigate and meke findings ~nd rernmmendations in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, seid Commission, a[ter due inspection, investigetion, and study mede Uy itself and in its behalf, and efter due mnsiderelian of oll evidence and reports offered at said hearing, daes find end detennine the following facts: 1. SECTION 18.62.090B(I) - Minir•um distance between siqns. 00 feeL required; 229 feet proposed) 2, That it was determined that this variance should be granted for a period of six (6) months, at :he er;d of whicn time the variance will terminate and only one (1) free-standing sign would be permitted in accordance with the Anaheim Municipal Code. 3, That there are excep9.lonel or extraordinery circumstances or conditions appliceble to the property involvzd or to the intended use oE the property that do not apply generally to the property or class of use in the same vicinity and zone. 4. That the requested veriance is necessery for tlie preservatian end enjoyment of a substential property right possessed by other property in t;ie same vicinity and zone, and denied to the property in question. 5. That the requested veriance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to lhe prop- erty or improvements in such vicinity end zone in which the property is iocated. 6, That no one indicated their presence at satd public hearing in ~~pposttion and r~o correspondence was received in opposition to subject petitto~. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FINDING: That the Director of Development Services has determined that the proposed activity falls within the defirttion of Saction 3.01, Class 11 of the City of Anaheim Guidelines to the Requirements for an Enviroi;mental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to Tile an EIR.
