on November I 1, 19]4, at 2:00 o'clock P.M., notice of eald publlc hearinR having been duly given ae tequiced
by lew and in accordance with the provisions of the P,neheim Municip~l Code, Chnpter 18,68,to hear end con:.der evi-
dence Eor end aeolnst svid proposed verience end to investigate and meke findin~s nnd rernmmendetions in c~ nnecUon
therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, efter due inspectian, investigetion, and study mede by itself end in . s behelf,
end erter due t~nsldewtion of all evldence and reports offered et said heering, does :ind nnd detecmine the Collowing
fects:
1. Thetthepetitioeerrequests the following variance from the Anaheim Municipal Co'e, to
reconstruct an existing free-standing sign:

required; 31 feet proposed)
2, That the above-ment!oned waiver is hereby granted on the bas'is that the p~posal is
to ::pgrade and replace an existing sign which has been at this locati.o:i for a numb~:• of years
and has not been detrimental to the subject aree.

within the definition of Section 3.~~, Class 1 of thc City of Anaheim Guidelines to :he
Requirements for an Environmental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exe~pt from

^ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESO~LVED that the Aneheim City Planning Co~ssion does hereby grant subject
Petition Eor Varience, upon the following conditions which ace heceby found to be a necessary precequisite to the pro-
posed use of the subject propecty in ocder to pceserve the safety end genecel welfece of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim: •
I, That street lighting f~icilities along 8each Boulevard shall be installed as require
by the Director of Public Utilities a~~d ~n accordance w~th standard plans and specifications
o~ file in the o`fice ef the Dir~ctor of Public Utilities; and that a bond in an amount and
rorm satisfactory to the City of Anaheim shall be posted with the City to guarantee the
installatio.^. cf ifie above-mentioned requirements.
2, That the owner(s) of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of
60C per ~roat foot along Beach Boulevard for tree planting purposes.
3, That subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with pians and
spzciTications on file with the City o` Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1 and 2.
4, l'hat Condition Noa. 1 and 2, above-mentioned, shall be complied with prior to the
commencement of *.he activity authorized under this resolution, or prior to the time that
the building permit is issued, or within a oeriod of or,e year from date hereof, whi~an~er
occurs first, or such r~rther time as the Plartning Commission or City Council may g
5, That Condition No. 3, above-mentioned, shall be coTplied with prior to final
t.uilding and zoning inspections.
