That Waiver 1-a, abcve-mertioned, is hereby deni=d on the basi.s that, if ap- proved, subject use would set an unde~irable precedent for fu:ure similar requests; and, furch•er, that the petitioner did not prove a hardship would result if suhject petition were not granted, except that which would be of his own making. 6. That three persons indicated their presence at said public hearinn in opposi- sion [o sub~ect pecition, who were residents of tiie f.ity of Buena Park; and that a letter was filed by che City of Buena Park in opposition to subject petition. 7. That the petirioner expressed a desire for the City of Anat~eim to deannex subject property to the City ~f Buena Park, since sub}ect property adjoins the parcel of land on which his residence is situated ir the City oi Buena Park. NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEL that the Anaheim City Plann.ing Commission does herehy deny subject Petition for Variance on the basis of the aforementioned findings. BE IT FURTNER RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Qlanning Commission does hereby recomn:end to the Anaheim City Council r.hat consideration be given to deannexing the propercy which is the subject of this Resolution to the City of Buena Park.
