OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0. 130 BE APPRO~IED
W':iEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt a General Plan by

~tna Li[y and inr}2c«'.`:~~g the present belief of the Councii as to possible future development
an~3 redec~Qie~ment o~ land within the City; and
GiHBP.E'ns, the'C'iiy Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a verified
E~~titl~cs for'RecYas•zi.fication No. 73-74-36, which petition has implications on policies
es e~.~~.es9ed on said General Plan; and
WiiEREAS, in addYtion to the notice of the hearing on said Reclassification, nol•ice
was a],so givQa regarding the consideration of amendment to the General Plan in the general
?ocetiptt and vicinity of subject property of said Reclesaification; and
~lkE'~:5, the City Plaiming Comm!ssion did hold a public hearing in the City Hall in
tLe cQEy o'F Ai:~.~`~eim, on Jenuary 7, 197ti, at which time subject Petition far Reclassification
;vo. 73-74-3E and General Plan Amendment No. 130 were continued to the meeting of January 21,
1974, for r~,m~vertisement, and subject netiiions were further continued Co February 20, 1974,
at 3:30 p,rr., For cansideration by a full Plonning Covmission, notice of said public hearing
having bepn ~1uYy given as required Uy law and in accordance with the provieiona of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and conaider evidence for and againet said Amendment to the
General Pl~n, and said propoaed Petition for Reclaseification to invectigate and make
findings and recommendations in c~~nnection therewith; and
WHERFAS, said Courtnisaion aft:er due inspection, investigation and atudy made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due aonsideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, DOES HEREBY MAKE THE FOLL~OWING FINDINGS:
1, That evidence was preaentEd at said hearing which juetifiea the City Planning
Commiseion's recommendin,g Co lhe City Council a thange in the present general
description and extenL- o:F land uses in the area generally located between La Pelme
Avenue and the RiversLde Freev.ay; and Euclid Street and Brookhuret Street.
2, That the propoaed elements of Reclasaification No. 73-74-36 marked Exhibit Nos.
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of General Plan Amendment No. 130 du conatitute acceptable
alternativea to current ~SOlici.ea es illuetrated on the General Plan.
NOW, TIiEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVEID that the Anahein~ City Planning Commieaion doea hereby
recommend ta the City Council of thie City of Anaheim that the Anahrim General ?Ian be
amended on the basis of the foregoiiig findings.
