I~t{EREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did initiate a
verified Petition for Reclassification on certain real property described as:
That certain parcel of land located in the County of Orange. State of
California, shown as Parcel 1 in Parcel :tap filed in Book 11, page 16, in the
office of the County RPcorder of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Parcel 1, said point of beginning
being at an angle point in the existing ~ity limit line of the City of Anaheim
as established ~y the La Palma-Rio Vista Annexation to the City of Anaheim;
thence N 0° 46' 41" E, 189.12 feet slong a portion of said annexation boundary line elso
being the west line oP ssid Paroel ]. to the northwest oorner of snid Paroel 1, said north-
we~t oorner also being the most southerly poir.t in the VPhito Ster-La Palms Annexatior~
boundary line.to the City of Anaheim, ssid point alsa being a point in
a curve concave northerly and having a radius of k,948.00 £eet. a radial line
bearing S 11° 39' 29" W passes through said point; thence leaving said
existing annexation boundaries and following along the northerly line, the
easterly line and the southerly line of said Parcel 1 the following courses
and distances easterly along said cuxve through a central angle of 3° 16' 26"
an arc distance of 2i32.73 feet to tt~e northeast corner of aaid Parcel 1;
thence S 7° 57' 41" W, 146.42 feet to the southeast corner of said Parcel
1, said southeast corner being a point in the northerly anner.ation boundary
line of the aforementioned La Pulma-Rio Vista Annexation to the City of
Anaheim; thence N 88° 52` 50" W~ 260.71 feet along the south line of
said Parcel 1, also being a portion of the existing City limit line of the
City of Anaheim, as established by said La Palma-Rio Vista Annexation to the
point of beginning; and
I~flEREAS, the City Planning Commiseion did schedule a public hearing at the
City liall in the City of Anaheim on June 9, 1975, at 1:3Q p.m., notice of said
public hearing having besn duly given as required by law and in accordance wittt
the provisions of the Anaheim 24unicipal Code, Chapter 1II.03, to hear and consider
evidence for and a~ainst said propoaed reclassification and to investigate an3
make findings and reco~nendations in connection therewith; said public henring
having been continued to the Planning Cowoission meeting of June 23, 1975; and
WIiCREAS, said Commission, after due inspeciior., investi~atior, and study made
by itself and in its behalf~ and after due consideration of all evidence and
reportu offered a.t said hearing, does find and det~rmine the following facts:
1. That the City Planning Commission proposes reclassificatioti uf the
above-described property from the COUNTY AR(0), AGRICULTURAL/RESIDENTIAL-OIL
OVERLAY DISTRIC~ to the CITY OF ANAHEIi4 RS-A-43,000(0)~ RGSID~NTIAL/AGRICULTURAL-
OIL PRODUCTION OVERLAY ZONE.
2. That the propused reclassification will establish RS-A-k3.0~0(0) Zoning
as a holding zone on the sub~ect property pending approval of a development zone.
3. That the subject ptope=ty is currently pending annexation to the City of
Anaheim under the Frontera No. 1 Annexation.
4. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is necessary and/or
desirable for the erderly and proper development of the community.
5. That the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relate
to the zones and their permitted uses locally established in close proximity to
sub~ect property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally established
throughout the community.

and no :orrespondence was received in opposition to suhject petition.

The D'~rectos of the Development Services Departnent has determined that the
pr~posed 4CL~.1`jLy F3~15 within the definition of Section 3.01, Class 1. of the City
of Anahaia Guidelinac~ to the Requirements for an Environmental Impact Report and is,
therefore, c3tegorica2ly exempt from the requirement to £il.e an EIR.
f~C;l, THERL•FORE, IIE IT RESOLVED that the Analieim City PlanninS Comc~ission does
hereby recommend to the City Council of the City of Anaheia that sub~ect Petit3on
for Rec~assificaCion be approved and, by so doing, that Title 18-Zonin~ of the
Anaheim Piunicipal Code be amended to exclude che above-described property irom the
COUNTY AR(0). A~RICULTURAL/RESIUE;ITIAL-OIL OVERLAY DISiP.ICT and to incorporate said
described property into the CITi OF ANAHEI?I AS-A-43,00(1(0)~ RESIDL:IYIAL/AGRICULTU?tAL-
OIL P20DUCTION OVERLAY ZONE upon the followin, conditions which are hereby fcund to
be a ne~essary prerequisite to tt~e proposeci use of sub~ect property in order to
preserve the ~a£ety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anahein:
(1) Tb~.t c?xse reclassification praceedings are granted subject to completion
