WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anahei~a did receive a
verified Petition fo: Conditional Use Permit from 4iILLIAti/u`ID VIRGINIA KUPFER,
220 Ogle Street, Costa Mesa, Ca. 92627 (Owners); LARRY JOHIdSON, 528 West 19th
Street, Costa :4esa, Ca. 92627 (~gent) of certain real property situat?d in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, Sta~e of Califorr~ia, described as:
The North 100 feet o£ the EasC half oP the ~ast half of the Southeast quarter
of the Southeast quarter and the East S feet o£ the t7orth 1b0 feet of the West
ha'lf of the East half of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Sect~on 14 in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, in
the City of Anaheim, as 3hown on a map thereof recorded iu Book 51, Page 7, et seq.,

EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Rast 40 feet of the North 9' feet of the East half of
the East half of the Southeast quarter of the SouCheast quarter of Section 14,

SdHGREAS, the City Planning Cormuission did schedule a public hearing at the
City Hall in the City of Anaheim on .Tune 23, 1975, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said
public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with
the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.03, to hear and'consider
evidence for and against said proposed condit.ional uQe ard to ineestigate and
make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
~dHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and study made .
by itself and in its behalf, and after due considera;.ion of all evidence and
reports offered at said hear3ng, does f.ind and determine the following facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for. which a conditional use per.nit
is authorized by Code Section 18.44.050.160~ to wit: construct a motel.
2. That the pzoposed use wil.', not adversely affect the ad~oining land uses
and the growth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be locaCed.
3. That the size and shape of the sitc proposed for the ut~e ie adequ~te to
allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
particular area nor to the peace. health, safety, and general welfare of the
Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
4. That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit under tt~e conditions imposed~
if any, will r.ot be detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general we].fare
of the Citizees of the Ciey of einaheim.
5. That no one indicated their presence at said puhlic hearing in oppoeition,
and no correspondence aas received in opposition to sub~ect petition.
ENVIRGN;lENTAL IMPACT RCPORT FINDING:
That the Plann~.ng Co~ission recommends to the City Council that the sub~ect
pro~ect be exempt from the requirement to prepare an Environmental Impact Repcrt,
pursuant to the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission doea
hereby grant sub~ect Petition for Conditional Uae Permit, upon the following conditions
whicu are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to t'he proposed use of the suh~zct
property in order to preaerve the eafety and general welfare of the Citizens of the City
of Anaheim:
1. That khis Conditional L'se Permit is granted sub~ect to the completion of
Reclassification No. 74-75-38. •

2. Ti:at sub~ect property shall be developed substantially in accordance with andn4.
and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nas. 1, 2, 3,
