WHERI:AS, the City Planning Comr.iission did hold a public helrin~ at th~ City Hall
in the City of Anaheim on July 7, 1975, at 1:30 p.ri., noCice of said puhlic hearin~
having been duly given as requirel by law and in accordance caith the provisions of
the Anaheim *lunicipal Code, Chapter 1°.03, to hear and consider evidence for and
a~ainst said proposed conditional use and to investigate and mal:e findin~s and
recoirnendations in connection therewith; and
t1llEREAS, said Commission, after due inspecti.on, investigation and study made by
itself and in its behalf, and after due consi~ieration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and deterr.~ine the following facCs:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for cohich a conditional use pernit is
authorized by Code Section 18.61.050.502, to wit: permit a contractor's storage yard
in the ;IL Zone, with waiver of the following Code Section:
S~CTION 18.61.063.012 - rtinimuri setback landacaPin~. (25 feet
requirecl; none proposed)
2. That the above-r~entioned waiver is withdrawn by the petitioner with the
stipulation to comply with the site development standards of the rfL Zone.
3. That the petitioner stipulated that none of the g~Orfoot highuchainlinlc
materials, etc., shall be ~isible above the proposed six (6)
fence, which is proposed to be interwoven with redwood or cedar slats.
4. That the proposed use, as granted, will not adversely affect the aci~oininS;
land uses and the growth and development of the area in tohich it is proposed to be
located.
5. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequatr to
allow the full developmeni: of the proposed usa, as ~ranted, in a manner not
:detrimental to the particular area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
6. That the Conditional Use Permit, as granCed, and under theJene~aliwelfare of
imposed, will not be detrimentnl to the peace, health, safety, and
the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
7. That no one indicated their presence at said puhlic hearing in opposition;
however, one (1) letter in opposition to the sutject petition was received.
ENVIRONi4ENTAL IhiPACT R~PORT FTNDING:
That the Director of the Development ~ervices Department has determined that the
proposed activity falls within the definition of Section 3.01, Class 1, of the City
of Anaheim Guidelines to the Requirements £or an environmental impact report and is,
therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to file an EIR.

Citizens of the City of Anaheim:
1. That street lightin~; facilities alon~ Red Gum Street shall be installe~j as
required by the Director of Public Utilities, an~l in acc~rdance witl~ st3nuarri plans
and specificat3ons on file in t]ie Of!`ice of the Director of Public Util.ities an<' t'.i1t
a bond in an ariount and forir satisfactory to the City of Anaheim si~a17. hc poste~l with
the City to ~uarantee t}~e installation of thc above-raentioned re~uirer:tezts.
2. T}~at sidewalks sliall he installed as requirc~l hy t}~e City °ngineer an~i in .
accordance taith standard plans and specifications on file ir. C}~e Office of tlie City

3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with npnrove~l plans
on file with the Office of the Director of Public Idor]:s.
4. That fire hydrants shall be installed and charged as required and deter~ined
to be necessary 6y the Chief of the Fire DeparCment prior to coimnencement of
str.uctural framin~. .
5. Plans shall be submitted to Che Building Division showin; compliance with
the minimura standards of the City of Anahzim, including the Uniform Building,
P].umUing, ~lectrical, Housing, ;techanical ancl Fire Codes as adopte3 by the City of
Anaheiui. The appropriate permits shall be ~btained for any necessnry work.
6. Tliat subject property shall be developecl siibstantially in ar.cordance ~aith
plans and specifications on file with the City of Anahein narked ~xhibit Nos. 1 and
2; previ.s~,, ttowever, that the development shall c~nply with all the site developmenC
sr~::~?=te~ r,:: the ?tI. 7.one, as stipulated to by the petitioner.

aUove the proposed six (6) foot high chainlink fence interwoven with redwood or cedar
slats.
