A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECONiMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM THAT
PETITION FOR RECLASSIFICATION NO. 74-75-20 _ gE APPROVED
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Aneheim did i n i t i ate a ve r i f i ed Pet i t i on for
Reclassification on certain real property situated in the County of Orange, State of
California. as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and referred to herein as though
set forth in full
; end
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing et the Clty Hall in the City oE Aneheim on
Jariuary 20, 19]5, at1:30 o°clock P.M. notice oE seid public hearing having been duly given es cequiced by
law end 3n eccordence with the provisions oE the Aneheim Municipal Code, Chepter 18.03 , to hear and consider evidence
for end agelnst seid proposed reclassification and to i:~vestigeEe end make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith; end
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigetion, end study made by itself and in its behalf, end
after due consideration of ell evidence and reports ofEered at seid hearing, does find end determine the following facts:
1. Thatthe City Planning ~ommission proposes a reclassification of the above-mentioned
property from the COUNTY OF 4RANGE Al (~ENERAL AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT to the CITY OF
ANAHEIM RS-A-43,000 (RESIDEP~TIAL/AGRICULTURAL) ZONE.
2. That the proposed reclassification would establisti the City of Anaheim holding zone
on the subj:ict property pending approval of a development zone.
3, Th3t the proposed reclassification is in conformance with the Anaheim General Plan,
4. That the subject property is currently pendiny annexation to the City of Anaheim
under the "Cerritos-Wasser Annexation."
5. Thet the proposed cec;assification of subject property is necessary and/or desirable Eor the orderiy end pro-
per development of the community.
6. Thet the pcoposed reclessificetion of subject property does properly relete to the zones and their permitted
uses lo~ally esteblished in close proximity to subject property end to the zones and their permitted uses generelly esteb-
lished throughout the community.
7. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in opposition and no
correspondence was received in opposition to subject petition,
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FIYDING:
That the Director of Development Services has determined that the proposed activity falls
within tne definition of Section 3.01, C~lass 1 of the City of Anaheim Guidelines to the
Requi~ements for an Environmental Impact Report and is, therefore, categorically exempt from
the requirement to file an EIR.

thet T1Ue 18-Zoning of the Aneheim Municipel Code be emendad to e::t:l~.de the above descdbed pmperty fmm the
COUNTY ur ORANGE Al (GENERAL AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICT and to incorporate said described prop-
erty into the CITY OF AtJAHEIM RS-A-43,000 (RE5IDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAL) ZONE upon the following
conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerPquisite to the propbsed use of
subject property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the Citizens of the
City of Anaheim:
1. That these reclassification proceedings are granted subject to completion of
annexation of subject property to the City of Anaheim.
