IVFIEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public helring at the City
Iiall in the City of Anaheim on September 3, 1975, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public
hearing having been duly givr.n as requirect by law and in accordance with the
provisions of the Anaheim Diunicipal Code, Chapter .1R.03, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said proposed conditional use and to investigate 1nd make
fi.nclings and recommenrlations in connection therewith; anc~
{V1iGREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and study made
be itself and in its behalf, and after di~e consideration of all eviclence and reports
offered at said hearing, does fincl and determine the following facts:
1. Thar, th praposed use is properly ene for which a conditional use

t:ce size of the ~aav~used billboard is more than twice as large as is permitted; and
tliat althougli the ~:;:titioner is proposing to remove one billboard and replace it witli
tlie proposed over-sized billboard, a second billboarcl woul.~i remain on si~bject
property.
3. That the proposed use will adversely affect the adjoining land iises and
tlie groivth and development of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
4. Tliat the size and shape of. the site proposed f.or the use is not
adeq~iate to allow the full development ai the proposecl use in a manner not
detrimental to the particiilar area nor to the peace, health, szfety, and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the graating of the Conditional Use Permit orould he detrimental to
the peace, health, safety, anci gerieral welfare of the Citizens of the City of
Anaheim.
6. That one (1) letter was received in opposition, and no one indicated
their presence at said public heaxing ir. orposition to subject petition.
LNVIP.OP7MF.NTAL IA1PACT REPORT FINDING:
That the Director o£ the Planning Department has determined that the
proposed activity falls within the definition ot Section 3.(11, Class 3, of the City
of Anaheim Guidelines to the Requirements for an Environmental Impact Report and is,
therefore, categorically exempt from the requirement to file an EIR.
