provislons of thc Anahelm Municipal Code~ Chapter 18.03, to hear and consider
evidence for and against said propos~d conditional use end to Investigeste and make
4lndings and recommendatlons in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Comrtssion, after due inspectlon, investtgation and study made
by itself end in lts behalf, and after due consfderation of ail evidence and re~arts
offered at sald hearing, does Find and determina the following fectss
1, That the propoeed use is properly one for which a conditional use
permit is authorized by Code Section 18.61.059,220~ to wits permit a motel, with
walver of:

2, That the above-mentloned waiver ts hereby granted on the basis that 62
parkJng spaces are adequate for the praposal, a~ submltted, inciuding the stipulatton
by the petttioner that a shuttle servtce wtll be provtded ta the Oranga County
Alrport and maJor Interest aress of the City.
3, That the petitloner sttpulated to canplying with the Clty of Anaheim
requirements pertalniny to trash enclosure areas.
4. That the proposed use wiil not adversely a}fect the adJoin(ng land uses
and the growth and development of the arca in whleh tt is proposed to be located.
5, That the ~ize and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequate to
allow the fu11 development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
port~cular area nor to the peace~ heaith~ safety, and general arelfara of the Citizens
of the City of Anahelm,

CommisYlon doES hereby recommend to the City Council af the C1Yy of Anaheim that the
subject proJect be exempt '~rom the requtrement to prepare an environmental impact
roport, pursuant to the provislons of the California Environmental Quatlty Act.
NQW, THEkEFORE~ BE !T RE50LVED that the Anahelm Clty Planning Commission
does hereby grant subJect Petltion for Condltlonal Use Permit, :ipon the following
condittons which are heraby found to he a necessary prerequistte to the proposed use
of the subJecC property 1n ordor t~ preserve the sa4ety nnd general welfare of the
Citizens of the City of Anehel:ns

i. That trash starage areas sh~all be provided in accordance with approvEd
plans on f11e with the Office of the Director of Pub11c Works, as stipulated to by
the petitToner. ,
2. That fire hydrants shall be lnstalled and cfiarged as required and
det~rmined to be ncceesary by the Chiaf of the Fire Department prlor to cranm~+:~canent
of sCructural framing.
3. 7hat the owner(s) of subJec: proparty shall pay to :he Clty nf Anahelm
the sum of two dolisrs ($2.00) par front goot along Katella Rvenue for street
lighting purposzs.
4. That subJect property shali be developed substanttally in aecordance
with plans and speciflcatlons on flle with tiie City af Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. i
through 3.
5. That Conditlon No. 3, above-mentioned, shal) be compited wlth prior to
the commencement of the aeti~~ity authorized under this reeolution, or prlor t~ the
time that Che b~ullding permit is issued, or within a perlod af onc {1) year from date
hereof~ whichev~r occurs first, or such lurther time as the Planni~g Commission
and/or City+ Council may grant.
