1Ji1[REAS, the City Planniny Commission did hold a public hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim on July 13, 1977, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public
hearing having been duly yiven as required by law and in accordance with tfie
provisions of the Anaheim 1lunicipal Code, Chapter 18,03, to hear and consider

evidence for and a9ainst said proposed conditional use and to investigate and make
findings and recomme~dations in connection ther~•iith; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and study made
by itself and in its befialf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and detnrmine the folla~ing facts:
1. Ttiat tt~e proposed use is properly one for which a conditlonal use
permit is authorized by Anaheim Municipai Code Sections la.4o.050.050 and 18.II7.023,
to wit: to permit automobile rentals at a service station.
2. That the above-mentioned use is gran[ed subject to the petitianer's
stipulation that the use is a pic4:-up and delivery point for rental vehicles and that
four (4) vehicles will be stored at the subject location.
3, That the proposed use will not ad~~ersely affect the adjoining land uses
~nd the yrowth and developmen[ of the area in which it is proposed to be located.
4. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequate to
allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
particular area nor to tlie oeace, health, safety, and yeneral ti•~elfare of the Citizens
of the City of Anaheim.
5, That the grantiny of [tie Conditional Use PermiC under the conditions
imposed will not oe deCrimen[al [o the peace, heal[h, safety and general welfare of
the Citizens of [he City of Anaheim.
6. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in
opposi[ion; and that no correspondence was received in opposition to the subject
petition.
ENVIROtU1EtlTAL (MPACT FINUIWG: That the Dircc[or of the Plannino Oepartment
has de[ermined that the proposed activity falls within the Jefinition of Section
3.01, Class 1, of tlie City of A~al~eim Guidelines to the Requircments for an
Environmental Impact Report and is, tlierefore, categorically exempt from the
requirement to file an EIR.
N04/, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEU [hat the Anaheirn City Pla~ning Commission
does hereby ~ran[ subject Petition for Conditianal Use Permit, upon the following
conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite [o tlie pr'oposed use
of the sub,iect property in order ta preserve the safecy and general welfare of the
Ciilzens of the City of Anaheim:
1. That this Conditiunal Use Permi[ is granted subject to the completion
of Reclassifica[ion t~o. GG-67-G1, na•~ pending.
2. That the rental and display of automobiles at ttie service statfon will
be in accordance ~•rith Code Section 18.~%.023, "Standards for Service Stations".
3. Tha[ subject proper[y shall be developed su6stantially in accordance
with plans and specifications on file with the Ci:y of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nc. 1.
4. That Condition tdo. 1, above rnentioned, sfiall be complled with prior to
the commencement of the activity authorized under this resolution, or prior to the
time that the building permit is issued, or within a period of one year Crom date
hereof, whichever occurs firs[, or such further ttme as the Planning Commission may
grant.

5. That Co~dition Nos. 2 and 3, above mentioned, shall be compiied with
prior to final building and zoning inspections.
