WHEREAS. the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City
Hall in the Lity of Anahetm on September 10~ 1979. at 1:30 p,m.~ notice of said
pubtic hearEng having been duly given as required by law 3nd in accordance with the
provislons of the Anahelm Munic(pal Code, Chapter 1E.03, to hear and consider
evidence for and againsL said proposed conditionai use permit a~d to investigate and
make findings and recommendations in connectton therewith; and
WFIEREAS, said Cammission, after due inspection, investtgation and study made
by liself and in tts behalf, and after due consideratton of all evfdence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and determine [he fotlowing facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a conditional use
permit is authorized by Anaheim Munlcipal Code Section 18.61.05^.180 to wit: to
permit an eacterminating service in the ML (Industriai, Limited) Zone.
2. That the proposed use aiill not adversely affect the adJoinirg land uses
and the growth and developmen[ of the area in Nhich it is proposed to be located.
3. That Lhe size and shape of the site proposed for the use is adequate to
alla•i [he full devetopment of the proposed usc in a monner not detrimental to thc
particular area nor to thc pcace, hcalth. safety, and general welfarc of chc Citizens
of the City of Anahcim.
4. That the granttn9 of the Conditior.a) Use Permi[ under thc conditions
imposed, if any, will not be de[rtmenta) to the peace, health, safety and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
5. That the traffic generated by the proposed use will not impose an undue
burden upon the streets and f~ighways designed and improveJ to carry che [reffic in
the area.
6. Tha[ no one indicated their presence at satd public hearing in
opposition; and that ~~ correspondence was recelved in opposi[ion to ihe subJect
petition.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City Planning Cornmission has
reviewed the proposa to permit an extcrminating service ln the ML (Industrial,
Limited) Zone on an irregularly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approximately 6.6
acres.having a frontage of approximatety 745 feei on the south side of Howell
Avenue~having a max~mum depth of approximately 760 feet and being located
approxtmately 3~Z feet east of the centerline of State College Boulevard; and does
hereby approve thc 4egative De;laration from the requirement to prepare an
environmental Impact report on the basis that there woutd be no sTgnlficant
individual or cumulative adverce environmerstal impact due to the approval of this
Negative Oeclaration since the Anaheim General Plan designates the subJec[ property
for gencral tndustrtal tand uscs comnensuratc with the proposal; that no sensittve

environmental impacts are invotved tn the proposal; that the Initlal Study submitted
by the petitioner indicates no significant tndividual or cumulattve adverse
environmental impacts; and that the Negative Oeclaration substantiattng the foregotng
flndings Is on ffle In the City of Anahelm Ptannin9 Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEb that the Anaheim City PTanntng Corrrnission
does hereby grant subject Petltion for CondTtional Use Permlt, up~n the Folloo-~ing
conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use
of the subJec: propcrty ln order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the
CitTzens of the City of Anaheim:
1. Tha[ the proposed ex[erminating service shall canply Nith all s(gning
requirements of thc NL zoning.
2. That subJect property shalt be developed substantialTy in accordance
with plans and specificatlons on file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1,
2 and 3.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby
find and determine that adoption of [his Resolution ts expressly predicated upon
applicant's cmpliance o~ith each and all of the conditions hereinabove set forth.
Should any such condttion, or any part thereof, be declared invalid or unenforceable
by the final judgment of any ccurt of competent jurisdlction, then [his Resolution,
and any aQprovals hercin contained, shall be deeTed null and void.
