Hall in the Lity of Anaheim on September 24, 1979, at 1:3n p.m „ notice of saTd
publlc hearing having been duly given as requlred by law and in accordance wtth the
provistons of the Anaheim MunTcTpal Code. Chapter 18,03. to hear and consider
evldence for and against said proposed conditional use permit and to Tnvestigate and
make findTngs and recommendatlons in connection therewlth; and
11HEREAS~ safd Commission~ after due inspectlon, investigacion and study made
by itself and In its behalf~ and after due consideratlon of atl evidence and reports
offered at satd hearing, does find and determtne thc following facts:
1, That the proposed use is properly one for which a conditional use
permit is authorized by Anahelm Munlcipal Lode Sectlon 18.03.030.010 to wit: to
permit a State of Californta Employment Development Department Office in the ML
(tndustriai, Limi[ed) 2one.
2, That the proposed use (s hereby granted on the basis that the use is
IndustrTally-rnlated; that it ts a dTstrict office which provides a servlr_e to the
reglonal employment community; and that no employment-relaced services are provided
to individuals at this location.
3. That the proposed use wiil not adversely affect the adJotning land uses
and the growth and development of the area in which it ls proposed to be iocated.
4, 7hat the size and shape of the sita proposed for the use is adequate to
allow the fult development of the propossd use in a man~er not detrimental to the
partlcular area nor to the peace~ health, safety, and general welfare of the Cittzens
of thc City of Anaheim.
5. That the grantin9 of the ConditTonal Use PermTt under the condittons
lmposed. if any~ will not be detrlmental to the peace. health~ safety and general
Helfare of the Citizens of the City of Anahelm,

6. That the traffic ge~erated by the proposed use witl not Tmpose an undue
burden upon the streets and highways destgned and improved to cerry the traffic in
the area.
7. That ~o one indicated their presence at sald public hearing in
opposltion; and that no correspondence was received In oppositTon to the subJect
petltlon.
ENVIROt~MENTAL IMPALT FI~IDING: That tFie Anahelm City Planning Commfssion has
revtewed the proposal to permlt a State of Calffor~ia Employment Deveiopment
D~partment office in the ML (Industrlal, LTmited) Zone on an irregulariy-shaped
parcel of land consisting of approximately 5.2 acres, having a frontage of
approxTmately 800 feet on the east side of Tustin Avenue,having a maxtmum depth of
approximately 360 fcet and being located approximately 565 feet south of the
centerline of La Palma Avenue; and dces hereby approve the Negative Declaration from
the requirement Co prepare an environmental impact repo.-t on the basis [hat there
would be no signTficant individual or cumulative adverse environmental impact due to
the approval of this Negative Declaratton since the Anahelm General Plan designates
the subJect property for grneral lndustrial land uses cortmensurate with the proposal;
that no sensitive envlronmental impacts are involved in che proposal; that che
inittal Study sutx~~itted by the petitioner indicates no signlficant lndTvidual or
cumulative adverse environmental impacts; and that the Negatlve Declaratlon
substantlating the foregoi~g findlr.gs is on file in the City of Anaheim Planntng
Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESULVED that the Anaheim City Planning Ca:xnTssion
does hereby grant subJect Petltion for Conditlonal Use Permit, upon the .`oliowing
conditTons which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequlsite to the proposed use
oP the subJect property in order to preserve the safety and general welfare of the
Citlzens of the Clty of A~ahelm:
1. That the proposed office shall comply With all signtng requirements of
the ML(Industrial. Limi[ed) Zone.
2, That subJect property shall be developed substa~tlally in accordance
with plans and speciflcatlons o~ file with the CTty of Anaheim marked Exhlbit Nos. 1.
2 and 3.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commlssfon does hereby
find and determine that adoptlon of this Resolution is expressly predicated upon
applicant's canpllance with each and all of the conditTons hereinabove set forth.
Should any such condition~ or any part thereof. be declared lnvalid or unenforceable
by the final Judgment of any court of competent Jurisdiction~ then [his Resolutton.
and any approvals hereln contaTned~ shall be deemed nuil and void.
