bfHEREAS, the Ctty Planning Cortmission did hold a public hearing at the City
Hall in the City of Anaheim on November 19, 1979. at 1:30 p.m., no[ice of satd public
hearing having been duly given as requtred by laN and in accordance wfth the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Lhapter 18.03, to hear and consider
evtdence for and against sald proposed condt[ional use permit and to investigate and
make findings and recammendations in connection therewith; and
1lfiEREAS, sa(d Commission. af[cr due inspection, i~vestigation and study made
by itself ond in its behalf~ and after due consideration of all evide~ce and reports
offered at satd hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
i, That ihe proposed use is properly one for which a conditlonal use
permtt ts authorized by Anaheim Munictpal Code Sectlon 18.05.112.020 to wit: to
retain a billboard In che ML (Industrial~ Limi[ed) Zone.
2. That the proposed use, consisting of a billboard at a locatlon other
than within the area specified by Code near [he Tnterscction of two hlghways, Will
not adversely affect the adJoining land uses and thc growth and development of the
area in which it is proposed to be located.
3. That the stze and shape of the stte proposed for the use is adequa[e to
aliow the full development of the proposed use tn a manncr not detrimental to the
particular area rtor to the peace, health, safety. and general welfare of the Citizens
of the City of Anahelm.

4, Thac the granting of the Condittonal Use Permic ~nder the condltions
imposed. if any, will not be detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general
welfare of the CitTzens of the City of A~aheim.
5, That the traffic generated by the proposed usc wtll not lmpose an undue
burden upon the streets and higiiways designed and tmproved to carry the trafflc in
the area.
6. That no one indlcated their presence at said public hearing ln
opposition; and that no correspondence was received in opposition to the subJecc
petitlon.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FINDING: The Planntng Director or his authorized
representat ve has determined [hat the proposed projcct falls withTn the definttfon
of Categorical Exemptlons. Class 3, as defined in Paragraph 2 of thc City of Anaheim
Environmental impact Report Guideiines and is, [herefore, categorlcally exempt fran
the requfrement to prepare an EIR.
NOW, THEREFOR[, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim Lity Planning CommissTon
does hereby grant sub;ect Petition for Condltlonal Use Permi[, upon the following
condttfons which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite to the proposed use
of [he subJeci property in order to prescrve the safcty and gcneral welfare of the
Citizens of the Ltty of Anaheim:
t, That subJect property shall be developeJ substanCially in accordance
wtth plans and specificacions on file with the Lity of Anahei~ marked Exhlbit Nos. 1
and 2.
2, That che appropriate sign permit sha11 be obtained alihin thirty (30)
days from the date hereof or such furthcr time as may be approved by the Plan~tng
Commission.
BE IT FURTNER RESOLVED that the Anaheim LTty Plannin9 Lommission does hereby
find and determine that adoption of [his Resolution Is expressly predlcated upon
a~plicant's compliance wtth each and all of the conditlons herelnabove set forth.
Should any such condition~ or any part thereof, b~ deciared Invalid or unenforceable
by the flnal Judgment of any court of competent jurisdictlon, then this Resolutlon~
and any approvals herein co~tained, shall be dcemed null and void.
