A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE ,'18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. fiDiX-~~ to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of t c ,na e1m Mun1cipal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 9th day
of FeQt:'la.~' 1971 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers 1n t e City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment" to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did qive notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the t~e and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adop~ed and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded fram the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:

That portion of the land alloted to A. Sebastian Van
De Graaff in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago
De Santa Ana, rendered in Case No. 1192 and entered September
12, 1868 in Book "B" page 410 of Judgments of the 17th
Judicial District Court of California in the County of
Orange, State of California, together with that portion
of Lot 5 of the Travis Tract in the County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book 5, page
120 of Miscellaneous Records in the office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of said P~ncho
Santiago De Santa Ana bearing :North 320 42' 30" East
612.62 feet from a stake marked S. S. A. 69, as shown on
a map of a portion of said Travis Tract; thence North
320 42' 30" East 706.38 feet along said Rancho line to
station 68; thence North 280 38' 45" East 163.80 feet along
said Rancho line to a point bearing North 890 45' 30" West
1144.56 feet from the northeast corner of Lot 5 of said
IITravis Tract"; thence South 890 45' 30n East 247.68 feet
along said northerly extended line of Lot 5; thence South
00 10' 30n West 1070.20 feet parallel to the eas.t line of
said Lot 5 to a point 11.00 feet North of the south line
of said Lot 5; thence Nortl1 890 45' 30" West 220.43 feet
parallel to and 11.00 feet North of said south line of Lot
5; thence North 550 31' 30" West 587.20 feet to the point
of beginning.
That portion of Lot 6 of the Travis Tract in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 5, page 120 of Miscellaneous Records, in
the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, being a portion of the Rancho Santiago De Santa
Ana, as acquired by the State of California by deed A6295
recorded in Book 7249 page 767 of Official Records, described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of the 60-foot
road as shown on a map of the Travis Tract, recorded in
Book 5, page 120 of I.1isce1laneous Records, in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, distant thereon
South 880 53' 52n East 122.03 feet from the intersection of
said southerly line with that certain course described as
"North 360 03' 15" West 186.39 feet" in said deed A6295;
thence continuing along said southerly line South 880 53' 52"
East, 49.01 feet: thence South 590 37' 40" East, 71.25 feet
to a curve concave southeasterly and having a radius of
1,060.00 feet; thence from a tangent bearing South 630 00'
537i West, southwesterly along said curve through an angle
of 40 21' 1611 an arc distance of 80.56 feet; thence North
870 07' 48:e tvest, 31.94 feet; thence North 360 03' 15" West,

be excluded from Orange County A-I, GENERAL AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT,
and included in the City of Anaheim M-l, LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE,
subject to the completion of annexation of subject property to the
City of Anaheim and subject to the following conditions:
1. That dedication shall be made to the City of Anaheim
of all streets within the area according to the Circu-
lation Element of the General Plan - Highway Rights-
of-Way t2p and in accordance with Area Development
Plan No. 105.

2. That all engineering requirements of the City of
Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specification on file in
the office of the City Engineer, at the time the
property is developed.
3. That the owner of subject property shall install
street lighting on all streets within the area,
as required by the Director of Public utilities and
in accordance with standard plans and specifications
on file in the office of the Director of Public
Utilities, at the time the property is developed.
4. That drainage of subject property shall be disposed
of in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer.
5. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
6. That a preliminary title report shall be furnished
prior to the adoption of the ordinance rezoning the
property, showing the legal vesting of title, legal
description, and containing a map of the property.
7. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall be
adopted as eacll parcel is ready to comply with con-
ditions pertaining to such parcel, provided, however,
that the word "parceln shall mean presently existing
parcels of record and any parcel or parcels approved
by the City Council for a lot split.
8. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the office of
the Diractor of Public Works.
9. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department.
10. That all air conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view.
11. Prior to the introduction of an ordinance rezoning
subject property, Condition No. I, above mentioned,
shall be completed.
12. That Condition Nos. 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9 and 10, above
mentioned, shall be complied with prior to final
building and zoning inspections.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish tile objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
