Hall in the City of Anaheim on July 12, 1g32, at 1:30 p.m., nottcr. of said public
hearing having been duly given as required by la~-r and in accordance ~aith the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.~3, to hear and consider
evidence for and againsC said proposed condtttonal use permit and to investigate and
make findinys and recommendations in connection therewith; and

IJHEREAS, said Commission, after due insper.tion, tnvr.stigation and study made
by Itse)f and in its belialf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports
offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts:
1. That the proposed use is properly one for a~hich a conditional us~
permit is autliorized by Anaheim ;1unicipal Code Sectio 13,44,q~p,p90 to wit to permit
two billboards in the CL (Commercial, Limited) Zone with waiver of the following;

2. That the proposed usc is hereby yranted subject to the petitioner's
stipulation that the maximum size of the billboards shall be 72 square feet.
3. Tliat the requested waiver is hereby granted on the basis of the
irregular and unusual shape of subject property, and location of the billboards
relative to surroundings.
4• That tlie proposed use will not adversely affect the adjoining land uses
and tfie growth and development of the area in ~ahich it is pr~posed to be located.
5. That the size and shape of the site proposed for th~ use is adequate to
a11ow the full development of tl~e proposed use in a manner not detrimental to the
pa rticular area nor to the peace, health, safety, and general tiaelfare of the Citizens
of the City of Anaheim,
6• That the granting of the Conditional Use Permit under the conditions
imposed, if any, wi)1 not be de~rimental to tlie peace, healtli, safety and general
welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
7• Tliat the traffic generated by the proposed use ~,ri11 not impose an undue

opposition; and that no correspondence tivas received in opposition to the subject
petition.
EtJVIRONME~JTAL IMPACT FIIJDING: Tfiat the Anaheim City Planning Commission has
reviewed the proposal to permlt two biliboards (72 square feet maximum stze) in the
CL (Commercial, Limited) Zone with waiver of maximum distance from highway
intersection on an irregularly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approxtmately 1,2
acres~ located on the west stde of Miller Street, between Orangethorpe Avenue and
Crowther Uoulevard (3331 East Orangethorpe); and does hereby approve the Negative
Ueclaration from the requirement to prepare an environmental impact report on the
basis that there would be no significant individual or cumulative adverse
environmental lmpact due to the approval of this Negative Declaration since the
Nnaheim Genpral Plan designates tlie subject property for low-medium residential land
uses commensurate with the proposal; that no se,~~itive r.nvirortmental impacts are
involved tn thc proposal; that the IniCial Study submitted hy the petitioner
tr.dicates no significant individual or cumulative advPrse environmental impacts; and
that the Negative Declaration substantiating the forc~noing findings is on file in the
City of Anaheim Planning Department.

i'%i'' NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission
does hereby grant subject Petition for Conditional Use Permit, upon the following
conditions whicfi are hereby found to be a necessar
of the subject property in order to preserve the safetrea~~uisite to the proposed use

applicant's compliance witli each and all of the conditions hereinabove set forth.
Should any sucfi condition, or any part thereof, be declared invalid or unenforceable
by the final judgment of any court of competent jurisdicti~n, then thts Resolution,
and any approvals herein contained, sha)1 be deemed null and void.
