A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
RECOMMENDING AMENDMENT OF THE ANANEIM SHORES PLANNED COMMUNITY,
CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION N0. 74-235, TO REFLECT PROPOSED REVISION
N0. 2 OF EXHIBIT N0. 5 F~ND AMENDMENT TO CONDITION N0. 13 PERTAINING
TO EXHIRITS AND DENSITY
WHEREAS, Reclassification No. 73-74-36 rezoning from RS-A-43,000 to
PC to construct a development consisting of condominiums, a mobilehome park,
a neighborhood shopping center and office park was apE~roved by the City Council
on May 14, 1974 in connection with Resolution No. 74-235 and in conjunction with
General Plan Amendment No. 130 for an area of approximately 137 acres generally
bounded on the north by the Riverside Freeway, on the south by La Palma Avenue
and on the east by Euclid Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the following condition was approved in connection with
Resolution No. 74-235:
"13. That subject property shall be ~eveloped substantially in
accordance with plans and specifications an file with the
City of Anaheim marked Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and Revision No. 1
of Exhil>its Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6, provided however, that the
proposed multiple family apartments be deleted and replaced
with condominium or PRD residential development with a density
not to exceed 11.3 dwelling units per acre."
WHEREAS, at the direction of City Council, Planning staff has prepared an
amendment to the Planned Community resolution for Anaheim Shores to reflect current
tand uses approved within the Anaheim Shores Ptanned Community; and
WHEREAS, the Planning staff has determined that the project was covered
under Environmental Impact Report No. 113 whi~:h was previously certified by the
City Council in conjunction with Reclassification No. 73-74-36 and General Plan
Ame:idment No. 130; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did hotd a public hearing at
the Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 S. Anaheim Boulevard, Anaheim, on
March 22, 1982, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public hearing having been duly given
as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal
Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said reconsideration of
reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in
connection lherewith; and
WHEREAS, the Commission, after due inspection, investigation and study
made by itsalf at said public hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND:
That subsequent to the land uses previously approved in City
Council Resolution No. 74-235, certain changes in land use
and density have occurred.
2. That the proposed Revision No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5 reflects
the existing land uses and densities in the Anaheim Shores
Planned Community.

3• That Condition No. 13 of Resolution No. 74-235 should be amended
to read as follows:
"13, That subject property shall be devetoped substantially in
accordance with plans and specifications on file with the
City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. l, 2, Revision No. 1 of
Exhibit Nos. 3, 4 and 6, and Revision No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5;
provided , however, that the entire Planned Community density
shall not exceed 7.68 dwelling units per acre, excluding
public streets."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Environmental Impact Report No. 113
was previously certified by the City Council in conjunction with Rectassificatibn
No. 73-74-36 and General Plan Amendment ~Jo. 130 for the Anaheim Shores Planned
Community and no further action is necessary.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to the foregoing findings, the
Anaheim City Planning Commisson does hereby recommend to the City Council of
the City of Anaheim amendment to City Councit Resolution No. 74-235 to reflect
proposed Revision No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5 and amendment to Condition No. 13 of
said Resolution No. 74-235 as st~ted above.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 22nd day of
March, 1982.
