PC83-181 A RESOLUTION OF TEiE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION THAT PETITION FOR REC:.ASSIFICATION NO. 83-84-10 BE GRANTED WHEREAS, the Anaheim Cit~ Planning Commission did receive a verified petition for Reclassification from AURELIA AND KARL H. SIKORA, 2016 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California 92806, owners, and JIM THAYER, 23276 South Pointe Drive, Laguna Hills, California 92653, agent, of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: LOT 7 OF BLOCK "A" OF "ANAHEIM '/ILLA TRACT" AS PER MAP THEREOF RECORDED IN BOOK 14 AT PAGE 44 OF MISCELLANEOUS RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. EXCEPTING THEREFROM THE WESTERLY 7-1/2 FEET. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did ho19 a public hearing at the Civic Center in the City of Anahezm on October 3, 1983 at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code. Chapter 18.03, to hear and consider evidence for and ayainst said proposed reclassification and to investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and study made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the following facts: 1. That the petitioner proposes reclassification oE subject propetty from the PD-C (Parking District-Comm.ercial) Zone to the RM-1200 (Residential, Multiple-Family) zone. 2. That the Anaheim General Plan designates subject property for medium density residential land uses. 3. That the proposed recla^sifiuation of subject property is necessary and/or desirable for the orderly and proper development of the community, 4, That the proposed reclassification of subject property does properly relate to the zones and their permitted uses locally established in close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses generally established throughout the community. 5. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearin9 in opposition; and that no correspondence was received in opposition to subject petition. #0055r PC83-181 1, .. : -. . . ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City Planning Commission has reviewed the proposal to reclassify sub]ect property from the PD-C (Parking District-Commercial) Zone to the RM-1200 (Residential, Multiple-Family) Zone with waiver maximum structural height to permit construction of a 3-story, 4-unit apactment building on a rectangularly-shaped parcel of land consisting of approximately 5,797 square feet having a frontage of approximately 38 feet on the west side of Ohio Street, and further described as 115 South Ohio Street; and does hereby approve the Negative Declaration upon findinq that it has considered the Negative Declaration together with any comments received during the public review process and further finding on the basis of the initial study and any comments received that there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planning Commission does hereby grant subject Petition for Reclassification and, by so doing, that Title 18-Zoning of the Anaheim Municipal Code be amended to exclude the above-described property from the PD-C (Parking District-Commercial) Zone and incorporate said described Property into the RM-1200 (Residential, Multiple-Family) Zone.
