A RESOLUTION OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COM.MISSION
TkiAT PETITION FOR CONDITIONAL USE PER[4IT NO. 2687 BE GRANTcL
WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Planning Commission did receive a verified
Petition for Conditional Use Permit from HOWARD ENGEL6fAN, ET AL, 111 North
Glenroy Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90049, and ALPHA BETA COMPt,NY, ATTN:

agent for certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as:

WHEREAS, the city Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at
the Civic Center in the City of Anaheim on May 13, 1985, at 1:30 p.m., notice
of said public hearing having beer, duly given as required by law and in
accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, Chapter 18.03,
to hear and consider evidence for and against said proposed conditional use
permit and to investigate and make findings and recommendaL•ions in conr.ection
therewith; and
WHEREAS, said r_ommission, after due inspection, investigation and
study made by itselE ~nd ir. its behalf, and after due consideration of all
evidence and reports offerr;d at said hearing, does find and determine the
following far.ts:
1. That the pro~~osed use is properly one frr which a conditional
use permit is author.ized by Anaheim ~lunicipal Code Seccion .18.03,030.010 to
wit: to retain a temporary tcait.er f~r ~upermarket storags ~~~e.
z• 1'}~at the proposed use is hereby granted Eor a period of one (1)
year to expire on May 13, 19L'ti.

non-food items such as pallets, racks, bales of cardboard, etc.
4. That the propoc=_d use will not aclversely aff~et the adjoining
land uces and r!:: ~=oWt.h and development of the area in which it is proposed
to be locatod.
5. That the size and shape of the site proposed for the use is
adequate to allow the full development of the proposed use in a manner not
detrimental to the particular area nor to the peace, health, safety and
general welfare of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim.
6. That the gr,anting of the Conditional Use Permit under the
conditions imposed, if any, will r.ot be detrimental to the pea~e, health,
safety ar,d general welfare of the Citizen~ of the City of Anaheim.
7• That the traffic generated by the proposed use will not impose
an undue burden upon the streets and highways designed and improved to carry
the traffic in the area.

8. That no one indicated their presence at said public hearing in
opposition; and that no cocrespondence was received in opposition kn the
subject petition.
ENVIR()NEtENTAL IMPACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City Planning
Conimission has reviewed the proposal to retain a temporary trailer for
supermatket sCOrage use on an irregularly-shaped parcel of la.nd consisting of
approximately 2.4 acres located south and east of the southaast corner of La
Palma Avenue and Euclid Street, and turther described as '.020 North Euclid
Stceet (Alpha Eeta); and does hereby approve the Negative Declaration upon
finding that it has considered the Negative Declaration together with any
comments ceceived ducing the public review process and Lurther finding on the
basis of the initial study and any comments received that there is no
substantial evidence that the pcojecL- will have a significant effect on the
environment.
NOW, TtIL•'REFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Planni~~g
Commission does hereby grant subject Petition fur Conditional Use Permit, upon
the folluwing conditions which are hereby found to be a necessary prerequisite
to the ocoposed use of the subject property in ocder to preserve the safety
a~id general weiface of the Citizens of the City of Anaheim:
1. ~hat the trailec shall be non-cefrigerated and shall not exeEred a
length of forty (40) feet.
2. Tl~at subject pcoperty shatl be developed substantially in accordance
with plans and specifications on file with the City of Anaheim
marked Exhibit Wo. 1.
3. That Condition Nos. 1 and 2, above-mentioned, shall be completed
within a period of ninety (9D) days fcom the date of this resolution.
4. That tiiis permit shall expire in one (1) year, htay 7.3, 19a6.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that che Anaheim City Planning Commission
d~CS li~reb, ~ind ~r.d d^*_~r.ir.in~ that adoption of tYiis Resolution is expressly
ptedicated upon applicant's compliance with each and all of the conditions
hereinabove set forth. Should any such conditions, or any part thereof, ba
declared invalid or unenfocceable by the final iudgment of any court of
competent jurisdiction, then this Resolution, and any approvals hetein
contained, shall be deemed null and void.
