WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and
study mad~ by itself and in its behalf, and after du? consideration of all
evidence and reports offered at said hearing, does find and determine the
following facts:
1. That the petitioner oroposes reclassification of the nottherly 51
feet of subject propecty from the RS-A-43,000 (kesidential, Agricultural) Zone
to the CL (Commercial, Limited) Zone.
2. That the Anaheim GeneraJ. Plan designates subject property for
general commercial land uses.
3. That the proposed reclassification of subject property is
necessary andjor desirable for the orderly and proper development of the
community.
4. That the proposed reclas~ification of subject property does
properly relate to khe zones and their permitted uses locally established in
close proximity to subject property and to the zones and their permitted uses
generally establisned throughout the community.
5. That no one indicated their pcesence at said public hear.iny in
opposition; and thac nu correspondence was received in oppositicn to ~ubject
petition.
ENVSRONb1ENTAL IMPACT FINDING: That the Anaheim City Planning
Cocnmission has reviewed the proposal to reclassifp the northerly 51 feet of
subject property from the RS-A-43,000 (Residential, Agricultural) Zone to the
CL (Commercial, Limited) Zone to constcuct a 3-story, 51-unit motel in
addition to an existing commercial building ~oith waiver of minimum number and
type of parking spaces on a rectangularly-shaped parcel of land consistir.g of
approxir~iately 0.80 acre having a frontaqe of approximately 120 feet on the
west side of Hacbor Boulevard, and fucther described as 2125 South Harbor
Boulevard; and does hereby approve the Negative Declaration upon finding that
it has considered the Negative Declaration together with any comments received
during the public ceview process and further finding on the basis of the
initial study and any comments r~cAivAd that ther~ i~ no substantial ^vidence
that the project will have a significant eff.ect on the environment.
NOW, THERSFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Anaheim City Flanning
Commission does hereby grant subject Petition for Reclassification and, by so
doing, that Title 18-ZOning of the Anaheim Municipal Code be amended to
exclude the above-described property from the RS-A-43,000 (Residential,
Agricultural) Zone and to incorporate deccribed property into the CL
(COmmercial, Limited) Zone.
