significant environmen~al impacts and recommended that a Negati.ve Declaration
be approved; and
WHEREAS, the Anahaim City Planning Cammission did hold a public
hsaring at tho Anaheim Civic CQnter, Counai]. ~hamber, 200 South Anaheim
Boulevard, on November ?.0, 1989, a~. 1:30 p.m. , notice uf said public heaa•ing
having been duly given as zei~~4.ired by law and in accordance witli the
prQVisions of the Anaheim N,unicipal Cod~s, to hoar and cunsider evidence for
and against said General Pl~n Amendmeut and to in~estigate and make findings
and recommendatfons in connectian therewith; and
WHGREAS, said Commissiun, af~er due considerati~:1, xnspoction,
investigation and study made by itself, aad af.te~ due considerat3on of all
evidence and rop~rts offered a~ h~aring, DOES FI~REBY FIND:
1, That c]ue ko City Council and Planning Commission concerns
regarding multiple-Eamily residential development in Anaheim, a p~.aae~ work
plan was doveloped whi.ch included, in part, an analysis of areas designated as
Medium Density Res?dential on the General Plan, as we11 as those areas zoned
RM-120Q west of St~re Cotlege Boulevard to the western City limits to
deterrnine land use inconsistencies.
2. That s~r~ff conducted b de~~ile~ analysxs of the General
desxgnations, zoning and lancl use antl identiEi~a 308 acre~ on
inconsistenciQS exist between Qxisting land uses &nd l:he General
designati~n and/or exisL•ing zoni.ng.
