WHEREAS, the City Council nf Yhe City of Anaheim did adopt the
Anaheim General Plan by I~eso.~.ution No. 69R-•644, shpwing the general
de~cription and exten~ of possible ftxture davel~pmonL within the city; anfl
WHER~AS, pursuant to ~ propexl:y owr,er rRquest for an amendmant to the
Land Use Element oF tYie GonQral P].an, staff prepared a Genera7 Plan Amendment
for tho study area co~xszsting of apgroximal.ely 0.~4 acre h~ving a fronYage of
approximakoly 74 Eeet on the east side o£ Ar:aheim Boulevard, havi.ng a maximum
del~th of appraximately 143 feet ancl beiY,g lc~catecl approximately 630 feet sou~h
of thc~ centerline of Vermont Avenue and further clescribed as 952 Sau~'h Anaheim
Houlev~rd; and
WHEREAS, Che Planning Department deemed it appropr3nte, pursuant to
the provisions of• the California EnvironrnQntal Quality Act, that there are no
significant ~nvironmoxiCal impacts 3nd rec~mmended th~t 3 Neq~-tive Aec~aration
be ~~proved; ~nd
WEI~REAS, trie Anahaim City Ylmnn.ing Commission did hold a publia
hearing at tho An3heim Civic Centar, Council Chamber, 200 South Anahoim
Boulevard, on NovembPr 20, 1989, at 1::~-~ p.m., notic~ oE sair3 public hearing
having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
grovisiants of the An~nhei.m Muxiicipal Code, to hdar. and c~nsider evidence £or
ond ag~inst said Genarai Plan Am~ndmen~ nnd to invc~stigate and make findings
and recomrnandations in connectiori there~•~-.th; and said }~~ti-:ion was continued
