prepare~ in complianc~ with Assembly Bill 3180 (C~lifornia Public Resourc~s
Code Seccion 21081.6) w.hich became State Iaw on January 1, 1989. The
program includes mitigation m~asures far the projer.t that the C;ity of A.naheim
will adopt oc• make conditions of project approvai in nrder co mitigate or avoid
significant and adverse effects on. the ~nvironment, 'T'he pragi.am has been
desigried to ensure compliance during project impismentation.

adversc eff~cts o~1 thc environment, have been incorporated into a checklist.
Cach mitigation measure is iisted separately on che ct~e~lrlist with appropriatc
spaces for cnonit~ring the progress of irnpleme~,tatian of each mitigation ~easure.
'I'his checklist is the basis for the m~nitoring pragrarn, ,A,ny informatian p~ovided
~o the City by che app(icants for individua: development projects must be k~pt
w•ith the checklist ir~ the praject ~le for that project f`or tl~e p~rpose of
~~eriCi~atic~n. The checklist is included at ihe end of this section.

measures. Fach ~ategory and sub-~ategory requires dif[crent monitoring
techruques, but will be rnonitored using the rheckiist.
