l4 RESOUJTION QF THE ANAH~CIM CIN PLANNING COMMISSION
aDOPTING AND R~CUMMENCIING TO THE CIT' COUNCIL ADOF'TION nF
GENERAL PIAN AMENDfVIENT NO. 330 RERi'AiNING TO THE IJ~NQ USE ELE~~AENT
WHEREA~, the City Council of the City ~af Anaheirn did adopt the Anaheim
General Plan by Resolution No. 69R-644, showing the geri~ral description and extent of
possible future development within the City; and
WHCREAS, Pl~nning Commission directed staff to initiate an amendmont to
the Land Use Element of the Generai plan to red~signate subject properry from the
General Commercial to the HillsidA Medium Derlsity Residential and General Commercial
designations in order Yo reduce the proposed commercial site from 8 acres to 2.2 acres
and to develop the remaining 5.0 acres with a 48-unit cond~minium campiex; and
WHEREAS, sul~Ject properry consists of approximately 8 acres located or~
the north side of Sunset Ridge Road batween Serrano Avenue (on the east) and I-Inrizon
ViAw Drive (on the west) and is furthar described as Development Ar~a 8 af 'i'he
Highlands at Anaheim Hills 5pecific Pian Mo. SPa7-1; and
WH~R~-S, tho Anaheim Ciry Planninc~ Commission did hold a publfc
hearing at the Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chambar, 2Q0 So~.jth Anaheim Boulevard,
on June 29, 1992, at 1:30 p.m., notice of said public hearing having been duly ~iven as
required by law and in accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
to hear and consider e~idence for and against said General Plan Amenc:ment and to
investigate and make findings and recommendations in connec4ian therewith; and
WHER~NS, said Commissson, after due consideration, inspection,
investisation and study made by itself, and after due consideration of afl evidonce and
reports offered at said hearing, LO~S HEREBY FIND:
1. That the evidence presented substantiates the need for an
amendrnent to th~ Anaheirn General plan and that, thereforo, Eachibit A should ~e adopted
redesignating subJect area for 5.8 acres of Hillside Medium Density ~esid4ntial and 2.2
acres of General ~ommerclal land uses.

Dectaration upon finding ttiat it has considered the Negative Declaration together with any
comments received during the public review process and further finding on tho basis of
the initial study and any comments received that there is n~ evi~ence that the project will
have a significant effect on the environment.

NOW, THFREFORE, BE IT RESqLVED, that pursuant t~ :he ~~tove finding$,
the Anaheim Giry Planning Commission daes horeby adopt and rFCamrr~end to the City
Council of the City of Anaheim adaption of G~n~r~l Plan Amendment No. 330 pertafning
to the Land Use Element, Exhibit ~, to redesignate subJect properly from the General
C~mmercial ta the Hiliside Medium Density Residential and General Commercial land use
designations.
