Subject:\[EXTERNAL\] Street racing in anaheim

Dear City Council,
I am writing as a concerned city resident about the issue of street racing in Anaheim. I live at N. Janss Street, and I
can hear the squealing of tires literally EVERY night, starting around 10pm and continuing well into the night. At first I
thought it was just coming from Anaheim Plaza, but as I drive around the city, I can see tread marks, either in circles at
intersections or just indications of very fast driving, which coincides with what I’m hearing at night.
I hope you can realize as our representatives how dangerous this is to our residents, not to mention how disruptive and
annoying it is to our lives. How long does it need to continue before someone is injured or killed as a result of this? It
could be someone participating in the racing, or it could be someone who just happens to be in the wrong place at the
wrong time, or someone just at home that an out of control vehicle crashes into.
Please agendize this important issue so we can address it and do something about it!
Sincerely,
Charlotte Mann
