A RESOLUTION OF TWE ANAWEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION 9
RECOMMENDIIJQ APPROVAL OF REVISED PLANS (REVISION N0. 4) OF
CON~ITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 1215 (READVERTISED) TO CITY CQUNCIL
WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit No. 1215 (to permit t~ minlaturo golf caur::a) was
approved by tho City Council on February 18, 1971, with revised p!ans being subsequorttly approved as
follows: constructton of a gazebo approved by City Council on ,4pr11 29, 1975; and expanslon of an
exlsting arcade area (tram 5,000 to 14,246 squarg feet) and n 9,804•square tuot expanslon to an existin~
club house approved by the Planning Comrnisslon on February 8, 1~82 and December 3, 1990; and ~
WHEREAS, the petitlonar currently reque~ts approval of ~evlsed alans to permit a 1,216 !
sq.ft. children's pluy area In an existing amusement faclllty; and
WHEREAS, tho City Planning Commissi~n did hold a public hesring at :he Clvlc Genter
in the City of Anahefm on June 28, 1993 at t:s0 p.m., notfce of said public hearing having bean duly glven
as requirod by law and in accordance with the provisfons of the An~heim Murdcipal Code, Chapter 18.03,
to hear and consfder eviclence tor and agalnst said proposad revision tu Conditinnal Use Permit No. 'i 215
ar~J to invostig~te and make findings and racommendetions in connection therewith; and
1NHE~iEAS, seid Commisslon, after due Inspection, Investigation and atudy m~de by itseif ~
and in fts beha{f, and aker due consideration ot all evidence and reports offered et said hearing, does find
and determine the following facts: ~
1. That the proposed use is properly one for which a canditional use parmk is aufhorizsd by I
the Zoning Code; '
2. That tho proposdd use, revised to Includs a chlldren play area, Is a minor madiffcatlon to I~
the existing arcade area becAUSe ft replaces some arcr.de machines and, therefore, does not Increasa the ,
ir,tensity or parking cJemand of the exlsting amusement facllity, ; and that the use, as revised, wlli not
adversely affect the ad~oin(ng land uses and the growth and developmont of the area in which it Is
proposod to belocated;
3. That the sizo and shape of the site for the proposed uso, aE revisecl, is adequete to allow
the full devolopment uf the Froposed use in a menner not detrimental to the ~artfcular aroa nor to the
peace, health, safety and general welfare;
4. That tho traHic generated by the proposed use, ss revised, wlll not impose an undue
burden on tlie streets end highweys designed and Improved to carry the traffic In the erea bvcause
adequate parkli7g is boing provided on the pramfses;
5. That the granting of the condftionai use under the condftions Itnposed wlll not be
detrimental to the peace, health, safety and general wetiare of the citizens of the Ciry of Anoheim; snd
