AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING THE
ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 2004-00126)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, following a duly noticed public hearing held August 9, 2004, pursuant to
the provisions of Section 18.76.070 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, the Anaheim Planning
Commission did adopt its Resolution No. PC2004-88 determining that a change or changes in the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made; and
WHEREAS, the owner of property located at 1429 West Crone Avenue, more
particularly described below, has requested that the City finalize reclassification of the subject property
from the T (Transition) Zone to the RS -2 (Single -Family Residential) Zone of the City of Anaheim
(Reclassification No. 2004-00126); and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent
to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map rete ; ed to in Title i 8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the
same is hereby, amended by rezoning and reclassifying the subject properties situated in the County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
THE EAST 70 FEET OF THE WEST 280 FEET OF THE SOUTH 300
FEET OF THE WEST HALF OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF
LOT 48 OF THE ANAHEIM EXTENSION, IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS
PER MAP OF SURVEY BY WILLIAM HAMEL, A COPY OF
WHICH IS SHOWN IN BOOK 3, PAGE 163, ET SEQ. ENTITLED
"LOS ANGELES COUNTY MAPS".
EXCEPT THAT PORTION THEREOF LYING SOUTH OF THE
NORTH LINE OF THAT STRIP OF LAND 60 FEET IN WIDTH
CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM BY DEEDS
RECORDED MARCH 2, 1908 IN BOOK 157., PAGES 334 AND IN
BOOK 157, PAGE 335 OF DEEDS RECORDS OF SAID ORANGE
COUNTY.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the above-
described properties shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map, as amended, is
hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to
be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim held on the 24t1hday of May , 2005, and thereafter passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 7th day of June ,
2005, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Chavez
