AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN TITLE 18 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING
(RECLASSIFICATION NO. 2004-00127)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, on August 17, 2004, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing
and. as a result thereof, did adopt its Resolution No. 2004-180 declaring its intent that changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made to reclassify certain properties,
including the property described below, from the O -L ( Low Intensity Office) Zone into the O -H
(High Intensity Office) Zone (Reclassification No. 2004-00127).
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent
to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been complied
with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and
the same is hereby, amended by rezoning and reclassifying the following described property, situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange. State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Area 6: An irregularly shaped area located on the northeast side of
Howell Avenue between Sinclair Street and Katella Avenue and
adjoining the State Route 57/Orange Freeway on the east, and having
frontages of 400 feet on the south side of Sinclair Street, 300 feet on
the northeast side of Howell Avenue and 470 feet on the north side of
Katella Avenue, as shown on the attached map marked as Exhibit "A"
and incorporated herein by this reference as set forth in full;
into the O -H (High Intensity Office) Zone.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended and the property,
shown as Area 6 on Exhibit "A." shall be excluded from the O -L (Low Intensity Office) Zone, and
said City Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is hereby
directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes
hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim held on the 24th day of may , 2005, and thereafter
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 7th day of June
, 2005, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Mayor Pringle, Council Members Sidhu, Hernandez, Galloway, Chavez
