General (15) Jennifer L. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expecting the message. We would like to thank Mayor Sidhu, Councilmembers Diaz and Ma’ae, plus all the City Staff that came to the West Anaheim Youth Center on Tuesday, February 22nd. The Rebuild Beach presentation hosted by Anaheim Sporn was well done, and touched on many of the problems we have on the Boulevard. But it is also wonderful to hear the positive actions including getting Cal-Trans to turn over Beach Boulevard to the city. That there is progress at 39 Commons including getting a Supermarket to become a primary tenant. Plus the work at the South East Corner of Beach and Lincoln including quality Affordable Housing. Also the increased police presence on the Boulevard, including all the visible cameras, better LED Street Lighting and Code Enforcement agreeing to use a more pro-active approach along the Boulevard. A special thanks to Sergeant Brian Paqua of the Anaheim Police Department for all he and his team do for West Anaheim. It was also good to see so many West Anaheim residents coming out on a rainy night to attend. As active, West Anaheim residents, we look forward to attending more meetings on the subject, plus offering our help in the matter. We understand that it is a work in process, and will not be solved quickly. We just need to keep moving forward. Once again, thanks to everyone who participated in the Workshop. David and Lisa Klawe West Anaheim, District 2 residents. 1
