A RESOLUTIUN OF THE ANAHEIM CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
ADOPTING AND RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 342 PERTAINING TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did adopt the Anaheim General Plan
by Resolution No. 69R-644, showing the generai description and extent of possible future development
within the City; and
WHEREAS, Planning Commission directed staff to initiate an amendment to the
Circulation Element of the Genera! P~an to delete Convention Way between West Street and Harbor
Boulevard as a Primary Arterial Highway.
WHEREAS, the Maheim City Planning Commission did hold a pubiic hearing at the
Ar~aheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 South Anaheim Boulevard, on January 20, 1999, at 1:30
p.m., notice of ~aid public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in accordance with the
provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to hear and consider evidence for and against said Generai
Plan Amendment and to investfgate and make findings and recommendations in connection therewith; and
WHEREAS, said Cummission, after due consideration, inspection, fnvestigation and study
made by itself, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, DOES
HEREBY FIND:
1. Thal the Planning Commission, by Resolution, recommend to the City Council approval of
General Plan Amendment No. 342 amending the Circulation Element of the City of Anaheim General Plan
to delete Convention Way between WPSt Street and Harbor Boulevard as a Primaiy Arterial Highway.
2. That no one indicated their presence at the public hearing in apposition to the proposal
and that no correspondence was received in opposition.
