Dear Councilmembers,
I am writing to express our strong support and gratitude for the RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ANNOUNCING ITS COMMITMENT TO
SUPPORT EFFORTS TO ADDRESS THE THREAT OF FENTANYL TO THE
COMMUNITY at the upcoming meeting. Anaheim Lighthouse is a residential Drug dual
diagnoses drug and alcohol treatment center with detox services. We are licensed and certified
by the Department of Healthcare Services.
We have firsthand experience with the effects and devastation of this drug on people suffering
from addiction and their families. We also know of the many stories of those who use fentanyl
without their knowledge, thinking it is another substance and not living to tell about it. We are
here to stand in this fight with you. Please let us know how we can be of assistance. Anaheim is
a leader in the community in Orange County and California. We commend you for taking up
this commitment.
