A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ADJUSTING THE
AMOUNT OF THE FEE FOR THE PUBLIC
LIBRARY FACILITIES PLAN FOR THE EAST
SANTA ANA CANYON AREA
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by the adoption of Resolution No. 89R-235
adopt a public library facilities plan for the East Santa Ana Canyon Area; and,
WHEREAS, the plan does contain a formula for the adjustment of the fees to be
collected upon development of property in the area; and,
WHEREAS, the plan does provide that the fees are to be adjusted in accordance
~, with certain indices established in the plan; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of the fees as adjusted in accordance with the indices has
been established; and,
WHEREAS, the fees hereinafter adjusted do not exceed the estimated reasonable
cost of providing the service for which the fee is charged; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares that adjustment of this fee
is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section
21080(b)(8) of the Public Resources Code; and,
WHEREAS, the following fees have been considered at a duly noticed public
heanng.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the fees established in the plan, as adjusted by the indices included in the plan,
shall be as follows:
A.} Single-Family, Duplexes and
Paired Homes $329.42
B.) Condominiums and Townhouses $239.59
C.) Multiple-Family
$218.98

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be operative on the sixty-
first day following the date of its adoption, on which date Resolution No. 2004R-127 shall be
deemed rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim thisday of ,Tune , 2005, by the following roll-
