RESOLUTION NO. 71R-220
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE .'18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anahetm did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No. 70-71-47 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Mun1c1pal Code relating to zoning, and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and fram its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolution
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that the pro-
posed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that a
certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 25th day
of May , 19 71 as the time, and the City Council
Chambers in the City Ball of the City of Anahe~ as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said
property, hereinafter described, fram the zone or zones in
which it is now situated and the incorporation thereof in the
zone or zones hereinafter set forth, and did gi~e notice there-
of in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anahe~ Municipal Code~ and
WHEREAS, at the t~e and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the city Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code

situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci 1
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be,. and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Oranqe, State of California, to wit:

Those certain parcels of land located in the County of Orange,
adjacent to the city limits of the City of Anaheim, State of
California, described as follows:
AREA I
Lots 55 through 73 and Lots 80 through 97 and the East 60 feet
of Lot 98 and Lots 124 through 131, all of the Eucalyptus" Forest
Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
AREA II
Those portions of Lots 20, 21 and 22 in Block K of the Kraemer
Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 1, pages III and 112,
Miscellaneous Records, Records of Los Angeles County, California,
bounded on the North by La Palma Avenue, on the East by Kraemer
Boulevard, on the South by the Riverside Freeway, and on the
West by the existing Anaheim city limit line.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying within Lots 197
through 201 of the Eucalyptus Forest Tract as shown on a map
recorded in Book 5, pages 29 and 30 of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, California.
AREA III
That portion of Lot 1, Block K of the Kraemer Tract lying Easterly
of the East line of the West 77.28 acres of said Lot 1 as shown
on a map recorded in Book 12, pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Los Angeles County, California.
Excepting therefrom any portion thereof lying within said Lot 1,
Block K, described in the document to the City of Anaheim by
final Order of Condemnation recorded January 18, 1962, in Book
5988, pages 618 through 621, Records of Orange County, California.
Lots 35 and 42 of Hazards Subdivision as shown on a map recorded

Lakeview Avenue to an intersection with the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of the land described in deed recorded
August 12, 19641 in Book 7175, pages 493 through 495, Records of
Orange County, California, said point of intersection being the

and the Southerly prolongation thereof to an intersection with

the following conditions:
1. That dedication shall be made to the City of Anaheim on
all streets within the area according to the Circulation Element of
the General Plan - Highway Right of Way Map.
2. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim,
such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving,
drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with
as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans
and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer, at
tile time the property is developed.
3. That the owners of subject property shall install street
lighting on all streets within the area as required by the Director
of Public Utilities, at the time the property is developed.
4. That drainage of subject property shall be disposed of in a
manner satisfactory to the City Engineer.
5. That subject property shall be served by underground utilities.
6. That the owners shall submit a letter requesting rezoning
of the property along with a legal description of the property.
7. That ordinances reclassifying the property shall be adopted
as each parcel is ready to comply with conditions pertaining to such
parcel, provided, however, that the word uparcel" shall mean presently
existing parcels of record and any parcel or parcels approved by the
City Council for a lot split. .
8. Prior to the introduction of an ordinance rezoning subject
property, Condition No.1, above mentioned, shall be completed.
9. That these reclassification proceedings are granted subject
to the completion of annexation of subject property to the City of
Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he
is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City
Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
to accomplish the objects herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
