A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM TO CONTINUE A DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS
PROGRAM FOR ALL PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
RECEIVING UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FUNDING AND ESTABLISH A
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
PARTICIPATION GOAL OF 8.66%
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has previously adopted a
Disadvantaged Business Program applicable to certain federally funded projects as required by
federal law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has determined to establish
.-. a Disadvantaged Business Program participation goal of 8.66% for the federal fiscal year of
October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 and for each federal fiscal year thereafter, unless
modified or amended by resolution of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the City of Anaheim shall establish its overall goal for Disadvantaged Business
Program participation for the federal fiscal year ending September 30, 2006 at 8.66%. This
overall goal shall continue in full force and effect for each federal fiscal year thereafter until
modified or amended by resolution of the Anaheim City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim at its regular meeting this 1212= day of July , 2005, by the
following roll-call vote:
